What you get

    About this experience

With experienced people who will be very eloquent in showing you the monuments and cities. The Amalfi Coast is a 50-kilometer stretch of coast south of the Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. A popular holiday destination, it is characterized by steep cliffs and a rugged coastline dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages. The coast winds through sumptuous villas, terraced vineyards and lemon groves overlooking the sea. The tour includes stops of 1 hour for each of the planned cities with commentary on board for the agreed language. On request it is also possible a 1 hour lunch break in a family house restaurant to taste a set Menu (all inclusive) with traditional local food, soft drinks, wine and desserts. Pompeii will be our last stop, a professional guide is the best solution to get to know the most important sites of the excavations in detail. The guide is on request and is not included in the tour price. (2h)

    Fun and informative

Vincenzo was terrific. Safe and knowledgeable. He knew all the spots for the best drop offs and pick up. He drove us through Positano and it’s incredibly hard to maneuver there. He was patient and offered stories and answered many questions for our first Italy trip. Grazie Vincenzo, speriamo di vederti la prossima volta.

    More Shortcomings than Highlights

My husband and I had visited before with another tour company, but our expectations were the same. Our two friends did not experience the best photo locations in Positano as the driver avoided passing through the idyllic town. Prior to arriving in Sorrento, however, he made a stop at a very crowded limoncello factory & store where we quickly purchased wonderful beverages and gifts. An hour in Sorrento was sufficient to shop a few stores, but not enough time to really enjoy ourselves. Then it happened. Our itinerary did not include lunch, but if we had a choice, we would have chosen a nice cafe in Sorrento. But our driver took us to a nasty little farm where we were served a barely edible lunch at 160 Euros, and told at the end, no credit cards were accepted. Onward, we were pleased with our decision to choose a tour with a dedicated Pompeii guide who presented the best viewing sites in the short two hours. All in all, we enjoyed a better experience two years ago. This tour had more shortcomings than highlights including the request for bottled water. I suggest shopping elsewhere for a better experience.

Response from the operator: Dear customers, I'm very sorry that you didn't enjoy the day tour at all.... ( on Amalfi coast all the shopping places are always full of people ). You were experiencing 3 places that logistically are not easy to combine for the time available , especially if you are on the cruise ship and the time is a little tight . Regarding Positano the photo stop only along the way was decided from you , according to spend more time in Sorrento 2 and half hrs including your not appreciated farm to table lunch that you agreed for , as a proposal.. , they gave you the free farm tour , plus 3 food courses , wine and water on the table for €40 per person.. thinking is expensive , means that you have no clou of life cost in Italy , many other customers always appreciated this farm .. P.S. ( you've got €70 of a discount from the owner because you were complaining regarding the credit card machine was not working ) .As you clearly specified, the stop for lunch was not included, it was made at your request, otherwise you would have been free to spend more time around Sorrento. We understand that living in the countryside , is cheaper , if you grow up with McDonald's food is not easy to appreciate the houtentic local food. Unfortunately the Amalfi coast is very expensive. The previous tour that you experienced was only the Amalfi coast full day tour, without Sorrento and Pompeii . It's clear that the scenic views are different . We really wish you a good life , hoping that you may be more generous in your lifestyle.. kind refards Vincenzo Frattini AmalfiTourCampania

    Take this tour!!

Our tour guide Salvatore was AMAZING!!!!!!! We had a family of six, ranging in ages of 18-83 years old. He took us to Positano to see the beautiful houses and shops on the hillsides, then we went to Sorento for some time to wander the gorgeous town and then to Pompeii for an excellent guided tour around the museums and ruins. Salvatore was so attentive, funny and super nice!! We will recommend him to EVERYONE!!! We took this tour as an excursion from our cruise ship. We were picked up right at the port and dropped off in plenty of time with no worries! Again, we highly recommend this tour, it was fantastic!!

Great experience in Naples, sorrento, positano, Pompeo in 1 day

¡Fue una experiencia extraordinaria! It was great! He was really friendly, explained a lot, took us to eat in a restaurant that is farm to table, completely authentic. If I come back to Naples, I’m calling Vincenzo for another tour. A trustworthy company AmalfiTourCampania.it

Vincenzo !!!! AmaòlfiTourCampania

Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano.: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano. cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano. take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano. worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano.?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano. suitable for kids and families?

    +

How far in advance should I book Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano.?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amalfi Coast Tour with Pompeii, Sorrento and Positano. start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
