Great Day Along the Amalfi Coast

We had a great day trip from the port of Naples! John met us promptly and took us down the coast. He knew the best spots for panoramic pictures and great suggestions for shopping and dining. He was full of information. His van was very comfortable and clean. He made sure we saw the places we wanted to see and so much more. It was a wonderful way to see the Amalfi coast while our cruise ship was at port.

Response from the operator: thank you very much for coming with us, we have been honored that you choose us to take care of your Amalfi Coast tour.

    Amazing Amalfi Coast

We took this tour while in port at Naples. Jon met us outside the busy cruise port and quickly got us to our van and on our way up the Amalfi coast. The history was helpful to put everything in context and the views were stunning. We really enjoyed seeing all of the small villages along the way. The roads are windy, so if you are sensitive to motion, you might want to take something. We stopped in Ravello, Amalfi and Positano. All of these are text book charming and definitely worth the visit. It was pretty hot and the last two spots were very crowded. If we got to do it again, I would opt to stop at a less crowded area for lunch and skip Positano. There were beaches to visit, but they were very crowded, so we stuck to shopping, food and beverage. Overall, it was a great experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your feedback , We appreciate the time you spend to enhance the value of our job and our collaborators. Can’t wait to see you again in Naples.

July 2025 Amalfi Coast with Carmine

Carmine was our guide and he was accommodating, attentive and entertaining. Our family group ranged in age from 9 to 78 so we had several conflicting needs and interests. The Amalfi Coast was gorgeous and we took many photos and enjoyed the time we spent in the towns. We would highly recommend the tour and Carmine as our guide.

Response from the operator: I really appreciate your words , Thank you very much, very very much I cannot describe our gratitude. see you in Italy next time

Amalfi Drive from Naples: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Amalfi Drive from Naples cost?

    +

Prices start at $84 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amalfi Drive from Naples take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Amalfi Drive from Naples worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 86 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 101 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Drive from Naples?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amalfi Drive from Naples suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Amalfi Drive from Naples?

    +

Around 35 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amalfi Drive from Naples start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
