Antonio Campo Mendez is the BEST !!!!!

We took a private van from Positano to Naples Train Station. Antonio Campo-Mendez was the best! He was so friendly and told my family and I about the various towns on the Amalfi Coast, the history, many sights that only locals will show and tell you about !! Typically our shuttles and transports to and from trains and airports are pleasant —but Antonio “Tony” made this one memorable and we met a friend for our next trip and going to hire him to show us around!!! Antonio Grazie 5 Stars all Around !

Response from the operator: Grazie mille for this fantastic review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that Antonio made your transfer from Positano to Naples Train Station so memorable. He loves sharing authentic, local insights and history along the drive, turning a standard transport into a genuine local experience. Hearing that you felt like you met a friend on the coast means everything to us! We can't wait to welcome you and your family back for a full tour next time

Memorable trip to Pompeii, Naples and the Amalfi coast

We had a great experience with NCC Naples Car Service and in particular with our driver Antonio (Tony). Tony was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, kind and funny! He certainly contributed to the positive experience we had during our visit to Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. Tony was very punctual and knowledgeable about the local history and lores. He was able to get us a guide for our trip to Pompeii as well as getting us reservations to very nice restaurants. One in particular had a breathtaking view - a beautiful memory forever. It helped that Tony has a good command of the English language - he also taught us some Italian.

Response from the operator: Grazie mille for this incredible review! We are so thrilled to hear that your experience with NCC Naples Car Service and Tony was such a highlight of your trip. Tony takes great pride in making every part of the journey seamless—from sharing local history and lore to setting up expert guide services in Pompeii and securing those unforgettable cliffside lunch views. We love that you enjoyed picking up a bit of Italian along the way! Thank you for your kind words and trust, and we hope to welcome you back to Naples and the coast again soon!"

    Great tour

It was a great excursion over to the Amalfi coast. It was so beautiful. Even though the town of amalfi was very crowded the town of Positano and Ravello were not. I would definitely return to the Amalfi coast. And our driver Eric was fantastic

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We're so glad Eric's excellent service made your Amalfi Coast trip so enjoyable, and that you got to experience the beauty of Positano and Ravello. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to see you again next time!"

Amalfi Cost Private Drive: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.

How much does Amalfi Cost Private Drive cost?

    +

Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Amalfi Cost Private Drive take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.

Is Amalfi Cost Private Drive worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Amalfi Cost Private Drive?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Amalfi Cost Private Drive suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Amalfi Cost Private Drive?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Amalfi Cost Private Drive start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Naples?

    +

On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Full Day Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Sorrento/Naples/Salerno, Caserta Royal Palace & Gardens Small Group Tour with Shuttle, Naples Pizza and Tiramisu Cooking Class. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Naples?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Naples?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
