What about a Mongolian residential area from Qing Dynasty? Well, this looks like a history trip? Yes but not only, we will introduce you the other important feature of Chengdu during the walks - FOOOOD! You can choose Sichuan cuisine/ local snacks/ hotpot/ vegetarian food as your lunch. Perfect tour for an Introduction to Chengdu
Just spent a terrific day touring 4 major sites in Chengdu. Claire, my guide, was at the pick up at my hotel lobby right on time. She arranged all transportation with extra comfortable cars. We hit the Jinli Ancient Street right at 9 AM when businesses were opening but before the crowds. Our temple visit came next. I learned a lot about the temple itself but also local history and important figures in Buddhism. Claire picked a great restaurant for classic Sichuan dishes. We had fun poking around the Kuanzhai Allies. The weather was unusually hot and Claire kept me in the shade and well hydrated . I wish I were staying longer, I would take advantage of another tour with this company.

A wonderful afternoon all over Chengdu!
Wu was an amazing tour guide. I enjoyed hearing about his childhood and where he played and visited. He was warm and personable and took time to learn about me. We went to may places and he took my photo and helped me look for treasure. I randomly mentioned that I love antiquing, and he took me to an antique market (a highlight of my China experience). We had the most enjoyable afternoon, I recommend that if you want to get around easy and have an English speaker explain what you are seeing, do this!

Great day out
I spent the day with Wu, seeing all the sights of Chengdu, he was a great guide and took me to lots of places I would never have seen on my own. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Wu to show you around.
