Following the ancient principle of "following the mountain's contours," the sculptures are arranged at varying heights, creating a sacred atmosphere where "thousands of Buddhas hide among the woods, and hundreds of grottoes lie within the caves." Lalaland Experience 😃

Lalal who picked me up was excellent. She came with a driver and two of her associates. Lala runs the company Lalaland. Lala had reached out several times prior to our trip to get some information about myself, in order to make sure she could accommodate me with regards to meals and set an agenda that would create a great experience. That in itself says a lot about how she runs her company. They were very knowledgeable, thoughtful and generous. They bought me drinks and snacks, even panda hats to keep the sun off my face as well as crocs so I could enjoy the water in Huanglongxi ancient city. Leshan Buddha is an amazing structure; followed by a wonderful traditional lunch. Huanglongxi was very unique and worth the tour. We also stopped a river tea house for some tea and I learned a fun game of cards called Turtle. The evening was followed with a dinner at a tradional Chineses family home that included three generations . The generosity and the hospitality that I was shown from the family was so humbling and I can not express enough gratitude! That was so special and an experience that I will always cherish.

Response from the operator: Dear Price: It means so much to us that you loved the experience, and we really appreciate you taking the time to share every little detail. Best wishes to you! We'll be right here in China, ready to welcome you back whenever you decide to return. Lala

Wonderful experience. Best tour operator ever!

We really enjoyed this tour and it was one of our best ever. Not only was our guide excellent overall, very knowledgeable and engaging, but the tour operator, Lalaland and LaLa, the owner, were truly exceptional. The overall attention to detail was excellent both before and during the tour, but even afterwards LaLa went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was superior from the beginning, and continued after the tour was over. LaLa made sure that we had our choice ready for us in the car for breakfast and she even met us for dinner afterwards. She also gave us very thoughtful gifts and helped us find an item we needed online and had it shipped to our hotel in another city. We would absolutely engage Lalaland for any of our future travel in China. Thank you LaLa!

Response from the operator: Dear Sir: Thank you very much for your truly encouraging words of recognition. It is also our great honor to have had the opportunity to serve you. Your comments have been incredibly uplifting to us – they have inspired our entire team. Going forward, we will continue to serve every distinguished guest who chooses us with the same passion, professionalism, and sincerity. Thank you again for your kindness and your genuine feedback. We hope all is well with you. Lala

    A beautiful experience. The...

A beautiful experience. The Leshan Buddha is one of those sites that you absolutely must see. The guide was perfect and very kind; she explained everything clearly and answered all our questions with great willingness, which we found to be true of the extraordinary Chinese people we met during our vacation!!

    Highly recommended !

After seeing all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided to book a tour with Lala land. It went beyond my expectations and I cannot recommend this tour enough. Lala was easy to communicate with despite us living internationally. She tailored an itinerary based on our needs and made great suggestions. On the day of the tour, everything ran smoothly. The car was clean, driver professional and tour guide very friendly. It felt like we were travelling with a friend. Lala even arranged to meet us at the end of the tour and brought some local food treats and for us to have a local hot pot. It was awesome to hear how passionate she is about her business and that she really cares for her customers and staff. Even after we had finished the tour, Lala continued to offer advice and tips for our stay in Chengdu. I have travelled on many tours around the world but I can honestly say that Lala is the most genuine and hospitable of them all. Don't miss out on booking a tour with them if you get the chance !

Response from the operator: Dear friends Jason and Ryan, Thank you for your thoughtful and heartwarming comments. Reading what you wrote makes me feel truly honored and happy. I'm also deeply touched that you still remember what we talked about — and even more so that you like and appreciate our team and our products. I truly hope we can meet again. Thank you for filming that video for us; it means so much to us. I hope that one day I can truly make my dream come true. All of us on the team will keep working very hard. Wishing you both all the best — and looking forward to crossing paths with you again. Your friend in Chengdu,China Lala

All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chengdu.

How much does All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chengdu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chengdu is not rushed.

Is All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chengdu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chengdu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chengdu and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does All Inclusive private Leshan Buddha China’s "Noah’s Ark" Town start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chengdu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Chengdu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Chengdu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chengdu Cooking Class with a Local Market Visit, Private Chengdu Day Tour: Giant Pandas and Jinsha Site Museum, Tuktuk Food Tour Through Chengdu's Local Eats. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Chengdu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Chengdu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
