Great time in Kathmandu
We had a great time in Kathmandu during our short visit. We spend a day with our lovely guide Ram, starting from a early morning sunrise at Nagarkot and visit UNESCO sites in Kathmandu. It was long day, but we enjoyed all sites we visited. The transportation was good and all our monuments admission fees were included which makes easy for us to move on. Everything went perfect!
Response from the operator: Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We’re glad to hear you had a great time in Kathmandu and enjoyed the Nagarkot sunrise and UNESCO sites. My amazing trip to Kathmandu
My trip to Kathmandu was amazing!!! I got to see many great monuments like the stupas in Boudha and Swayambhunath and the breathtaking view spots were amazing ,this experience was like I visited every country in the world and the food was exceptional like a Michelin chef made it!!! The locals were friendly and gave me free gifts, and the hotels were traditional and luxurious. I am extremely grateful for the breathtaking experiences Himalayan luxury holidays gave me, they’re prices are reasonable and unlike any other tour company and the staff knew what they were doing. They created an itinerary of my interests of what to do and see in this tour. If you like to explore nepal and want to spend less money and have a good time, then you should consider visiting Himalayan luxury holidays.
Response from the operator: Dear Amulya, Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the monuments, breathtaking views, delicious food, friendly locals, and luxurious hotels. Incredible Tour of Kathmandu with Shankar Bhattarai
We had a truly wonderful time visiting Kathmandu on this tour. We are grateful to have been introduced to the city by our tour guide, Shankar Bhattarai. He is extremely knowledgeable about each site explains the history and culture very well. He brought us to see all seven of the UNESCO sites, and pointed out beautiful wells, gardens and artwork. He was very flexible when we expressed an interest in the local markets and took us to great ones. Something that was great for us as western travelers, was his deep knowledge of western cultures as well. He studied western literature and made interesting comparisons between Hindu and Buddhist beliefs and ways of being and western culture. All in all I highly suggest touring with him. We felt that we made a friend in Nepal with Shankar are we are already planning to schedule another trip with friends and will request Shankar as our guide!
Response from the operator: Dear Hannah, Thank you for your lovely review! We’re glad you enjoyed exploring Kathmandu and all seven UNESCO sites with Shankar. His knowledge, flexibility, and cultural insights truly made the tour special. We’re happy you felt a strong connection and look forward to welcoming you and your friends again in the future. I had the most wonderful experience with my tour in Kathmandu. Our guide Shankar was fantastic. He picked us up from the airport, ensured we went to every place and met our needs along with ensuring not only did we get to see these places we got an informative and highly skilled explanation of what we are seeing and why. I can honestly say the tour was amazing and not only that so so friendly. The tour has made me want to go back again next year with friends to explore further and I will certainly want to do this trip with our guide Shankar Bhattarai. WONDERFUL

All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting cost?
+
Prices start at $170 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does All-Inclusive Kathmandu Tour-Heritage Sites & Nepali Food Tasting start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
