Acera del Darro
Los puentes del río Darro fueron un elemento fundamental en la estructura urbana de la ciudad islámica y cristiana, articulando el diálogo visual y la accesibilidad entre ámbas márgenes del Río. En la actualidad solo han pervivido cinco de ellos, situados en la conocida Carrera del Darro y en el Paseo de los Tristes, de todos los que recorrían el cauce del Darro hasta su desembocadura en el río Genil. La mayoría de estos puentes fueron destruidos o se encuentran sus vestigios bajo el actual embovedado del Darro, obra de ingeniería que se realizó entre los siglos XVII y XIX estableciendo una nueva imagen de la ciudad 'moderna' al gusto de las grandes metrópolis europeas.

Murallas del Albayzin
La Muralla Zirí es uno de los tramos de la muralla del Albaicín. Se localiza en la zona más alta del barrio, donde se levantaba la ciudad ibero-romana que recibía el nombre de Eliberri. Este lienzo del siglo XI es uno de los monumentos más antiguos de la ciudad. Forma parte del núcleo originario de la ciudad islámica de Granada, donde se piensa que se ubicó la Qasaba Qadima o Alcazaba Vieja del monarca zirí Habus (1013). El Aljibe del Rey (siglo XI) y el Palacio nazarí de Dar-al-Horra (siglo XV) se encuentran en este mismo entorno.

La Puerta de las Pesas, Puerta Nueva, o Arco de las pesas situada junto a la actual Plaza Larga, también se llamó del Ensanche (Bab Al Ziyada). Es una de las primeras puertas en recodo de la arquitectura hispanomusulmana y fue uno de los puntos de acceso de la muralla zirí, que separaba el Albaicín del barrio de la Alcazaba Qadima (Vieja).

Sacromonte
l Sacro Monte es hoy el cuartel general de los gitanos de Granada. Es, para hablar con propiedad, una ciudad dentro de ciudad con una población que tiene costumbres y lenguas particulares… las faldas de la colina están socavadas por infinitos agujeros o grutas que sirven de vivienda a los gitanos". Teleurstellend
Beautiful complex with beautiful views. Staff at the first entrance friendly and helpful. Unfortunately staff in the rest of the complex unfriendly and not helpful. No tips for the disabled. Little to no ramps for wheelchairs. Also for disabled parking nothing is indicated. There appears to be a disabled parking space at the front that you can hardly see, because the blue surface is worn off.

We spent €51.54 for tickets including the visit to the Alhambra in return we received 2 tickets of €10 for the gardens. Our requests by email remained in vain and without a clear response. To avoid absolutely

Recently booked three hour private tour of Alhambra via Get your Guide. This was €577. Money instantly deducted from account ....followed by confirmation emails both from Get your guide and Pancho tours. We then booked travel and accomodation at Granada . On arrival night before tour they sent email n rang to say they don’t have any tickets ! ! We wouldn’t have altered our travel if this was known to us . We missed out on trying with other companies. Missed out on other activities. This behaviour of selling a service without actually having tickets is unprofessional..,disgusting. DO NOT DO BOOK WITH PANCHO TOURS

Comprehensive
My wife and I did the full day, private tour of the Albaicin and Alhambra. Our guide Jacqueline was excellent, very knowledgeable, well organized and moved us through the day efficiently. We thoroughly enjoyed her company and benefited greatly from her insights. A day well spent. Administratively, Pancho Tours was a bit disorganized. In booking the tour, Pancho sent us the same emails numerous times, not a problem but it did fill up the inbox. Also the company sent us the wrong meeting spot to begin the tour. Fortunately the company contacted us with the correct information, and we did the tour, with a late start. Note: this is a full day tour with lots of walking. Be prepared

Excellent tour - Pedro was a great guide
We booked this tour with Pancho because we had left it too late to get tickets for the Alhambra through their official website. We are very glad that we did as we had a very special walk through the Albaicin with Pedro (my husband and I were the only members of the tour group) before our visit to the Alhambra. Pedro was an excellent guide - friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Our skip-the-line tickets to the Alhambra were great - no waiting.
