    This was a small group...

This was a small group tour but it was just the 3 of us and we enjoyed the personal attention. Paula was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the Alhambra and Spanish history.

    An enlightening tour of Alhambra

We toured the Alhambra with Paula. She grew up in Granada. She told us interesting details about the history, architecture, restoration, culture, sultans, kings and queens of the Alhambra. The pace of the 3 hour tour was perfect. We had time to absorb what we were seeing and feeling. We never felt rushed. She was great about answering our questions. Her English was exceptional and easy to understand, but charming with her Granada accent.

Excellent guided tour round a beautiful building.

We only booked this tour around 3 weeks beforehand and many were already fully booked. Luckily we found Lolita's Tours and our guide Paola. We were expecting a large group but it was only us and our very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and cheerful guide. She explained the history very clearly and so many interesting details that we would have. It was amazing how she maintained the same level of professionalism and enthusiasm over the 3 hour visit. It exceeded our expectations and Paola made it a perfect end to our holiday.

    Alhambra tour fail

Although our tour was confirmed, when we arrived at the meeting place the guide let us know that tours were not allowed that day . She says it was a holiday and therefore no tours were allowed. We were not informed of this until were arrived at the designated meeting place. She did provide us with tickets snd issued a refund

Response from the operator: We are really sorry for the situation that occurred on Patrimonio Day. As an agency, we were not informed by the monument that guided tours were not allowed on that date; in fact, for the past eight years tours have always taken place as usual. The monument’s own staff apologized to us and acknowledged that it was their internal mistake, which our guide explained to you before the tour was scheduled to begin. Even though this incident was completely beyond our control, you received a full refund, and you were also able to enter the Alhambra for free with the tickets we provided. For this reason, we believe that a one-star rating is quite disproportionate, especially considering that our company also suffered a significant financial loss due to the monument’s error. Nonetheless, we truly hope you enjoyed your visit to the Alhambra with the complimentary ticket we offered FOR FREE.

Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.

How much does Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife cost?

    +

Prices start at $77 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.

Is Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 92 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife?

    +

Around 32 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Alhambra Tour & ticket: Nasrid Palaces, Alcazaba & Generalife start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Granada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Granada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
