Purchase tickets directly from Alhambra not 2nd party operators

Be mindful that if you are late for the start time even by 10 min and if the group has entered the Alhambra you will not be able to join and you will be left at the entrance with no assistance. Unfortunately this happened to us and we tried desperately to contact Granada A Pie who had our ticket to enter the Alhambra and refused to assist us in anyway. Their response was basically- too bad not our problem. If you are visiting the Alhambra purchase your tickets directly through them as they are there on site to assist.

Response from the operator: Good afternoon. As you mentioned, if customers arrive late for the tour, they are not permitted to participate and will therefore be left outside the monument. Punctuality is very important for this tour. Best regards.

They told me to read the small print! Nice service! Book with a reputable 3rd party!

They can change your tour time and offer no refund. Ours was moved from noon to 5pm which we can’t do. They told me to read the small print and it’s too late to change!

Response from the operator: Good afternoon. As specified on your reservation voucher, due to the monument’s large capacity, the start time may be changed up to 24 hours before the date of your visit. For this reason, we recommend that you do not travel on the same day. Please be sure to read the fine print when making this type of reservation. Best regards.

A must-see visit and an unforgettable moment

Even though we are far from fully understanding Spanish, the visit was fantastic and very immersive. Our guide, Carmina, was very dynamic and showed us the most relevant viewpoints of the site. Nasrid Palaces is like a waking dream.

Response from the operator: Buenas tardes! Estamos muy agradecidos de que se haya tomado el tiempo de compartir su opinión con nosotros. Es un placer poder atender a clientes como usted. Que tenga un excelente día! El equipo de Granada a Pie.

    The company is a SCAM

We were scammed by this company saying we weren’t present on time and the guide left without us. The meetup instructions were vague “meet outside the cafe bar near ticket entrance” and after asking multiple people for help and waiting in three different places we found a number to call for help and was told our tickets were inside the bar. Though the guide was supposedly only five minutes in to the tour the company said they were unable to reach the guide or provide the name of the guide. We asked every English speaking guide we encountered and no one was missing five people. We called for THREE HOURS and the company refused to answer.

Response from the operator: Dear customer. The meeting point is specified on the booking voucher and you should not enter the café at any time. You simply need to meet the guide outside, as did the other 20 participants in the group who arrived on time and were able to take the guided tour. You arrived after the start time and called our agency about 20 minutes later, which is why we told you to pick up your tickets inside the café so that you could take the tour on your own. Once the guided tour has started, we cannot give any information about the guide because this disturbs the group that has been at the meeting point at the appointed time. We were in constant contact with you during the three hours you were calling and texting, but you refused to accept that you had lost your right to the tour. It is not our responsibility or that of the guide to look for customers who arrive late. It is your responsibility to arrive at the time indicated on the voucher, and if you are lost or need help, you should contact us in advance, not 20 minutes later, as was the case here. According to the rules, if you do not show up at the start of the tour, you automatically lose the visit and the tickets. We were kind enough to provide you with tickets to visit the monument on your own, which you did not do because you were complaining instead of enjoying the day. We hope this has taught you to be punctual in the future. Regards!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.

How much does Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces Guided Tour in Granada cost?

    +

Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces Guided Tour in Granada take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.

Is Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces Guided Tour in Granada worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 40 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 107 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces Guided Tour in Granada?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces Guided Tour in Granada suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces Guided Tour in Granada?

    +

Around 37 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces Guided Tour in Granada start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Granada?

    +

On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Granada?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Granada?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
