Alhambra is a must-see
The time of day makes a difference in terms of crowds and weather. Booking well ahead is necessary in order to see the Nazrid Palace part of a tour. It is not always automatically included.Don’t bring small children; it’s too much in terms of walking and the length of tome. They won’t be interested. . The tour could last for 3 to 3.5 hours.

The tour that never happened!
I booked this tour several weeks in advance, despite reading another review that started tickets were not provided as promised. The day before our tour, I got messages asking if we would be available to move our tour to another time. I responded yes, and had a question in my response, but didn't hear another word from the tour operator until the next morning, just two hours before the tour was scheduled to start. They sent a message that they were unable to obtain tickets and that the tour was cancelled. They offered a refund or a discount on their Grenada city tour. As if! First, if you can't reliably secure tickets, don't offer a tour at all, especially for such a high-demand place. It was very disappointing to miss it. Second, giving a discount on another tour was tacky. The only nice thing I have to say is that the refund was promptly sent. Avoid this company!
Response from the operator: Dear Cynthia, We do not believe your assessment of the situation is entirely fair, and we would like to clarify what happened with complete transparency. We are a travel agency that organizes fully guided tours, including ticket management whenever availability exists. At the time you made your reservation, there was no ticket availability on the official Alhambra Patronato portal, which is the only legally authorized channel for ticket issuance under current regulations. Even so, once we received your reservation, we began our management process and continuously monitored the official ticketing system in an attempt to secure a ticket for you and assign you to the guided tour we had organized months in advance. This process requires time, constant monitoring, and operational coordination, and at no point did we charge you any additional fee for this effort; we assumed this work as part of our customer service in an attempt to help you. Unfortunately, due to the lack of availability caused by the short notice with which the reservation was made, it was not possible to secure your ticket. As soon as we confirmed that we would not be able to complete the contracted service, we offered you reasonable alternatives: an alternative tour option or a full refund of the amount paid, which was ultimately processed. We do acknowledge one point where you are absolutely right: you replied to us the same day, and we did not respond again until the day before the tour. For this lack of communication follow-up, we sincerely apologize. However, we want to make it clear that there was never any bad faith or intention to inconvenience you. On the contrary, we made every possible effort until the very last moment to find a solution and deliver the service you booked, but due to circumstances completely beyond our control, this was ultimately not possible. Thank you for your understanding. Kind regards, TuriGranada Team

The highlight of my trip to Granada
This tour was absolutely amazing. Cristina made this experience truly enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable and funny. I was touched by how much she cares about these amazing places. I saw her picking up trash from the floor in more than one occasion. The tour was just the right amount of information. We were able to stop and take pictures and also to take a bathroom break when needed. Cristina you are the best!

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Granada.
How much does Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife cost?
+
Prices start at $81 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Granada usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Granada is not rushed.
Is Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 35 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Granada, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Granada can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Granada and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Alhambra Guided Tour, Nasrid Palaces and Generalife start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Granada within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Granada?
+
On Outty we rank every Granada experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Granada: Sierra Nevada Safari tour up to 2500 meters high, Granada Tapas and Wine Small Group Tour, Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte Segway Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Granada?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Granada?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
