    fun ride

Our tour was done by Francesa. It was a fun and wild ride and she gave us good tips to enjoy the rest of our trip. She was lovely and we had a good time. However, it was not quite the tour we had booked. We did not do all the things described in the itinerary. We did not stroll around Alfama and were given 5 minutes to view the top viewpoint there. The tour also stated that bottled water would be provided. It was super hot and sunny and we were not offered any water so that made it a bit difficult to stay engaged.

Response from the operator: Hello! sorry for replying only now and for the misunderstanding.. Francesca has always been my mentor and she is the one who taught me how to do my job so I just guarantee for her when she is doing a tour..We give you few info online to give an idea about the tour but then the actual circuit may just depend on the season, on the sun light, on the traffic and we try to customize it.. we always have bottles of water or we go buy them if needed..there is not actual place on the back seats to leave them so you have to ask for a bottle and it will be given to you as promised;) thank you for understanding and see you next time

This tour is highly recommended! Wouldn't we have missed

Our host Agistino was easily accessible. So we could very flexibly arrange a time for our pick-up! During our tour, Agistino enthusiastically talked about the beautiful places in these neighborhoods. Liked to tailor it to our needs. And what beautiful places and beautiful views we have been able to see! Great!

Response from the operator: Thank you Hanneke!!

You gave to try this tour-Ago you are the best!

Ago's tour was an incredible experience. Ago is first of all very approachable, relaxed and knowledgable tour guide who took me and my 2 friends for his tuk-tuk tour. We had an awesome time with him: except showing you the touristically must see stuff, he showed us also hidden gems: we had the best cherry liquor from local grandmba and visited local gallery. Every corner he took us to had a story and meaning, and we felt like we are seeing the right part of Lisbon. Ago, thank you. I am coming back to Lisbon and I would reach out again for your tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you Amanda, you also made it a unique tour! See you soon

    Perfect tour guide in Lisbon

Ago was such a great guide. He took me and my mother around the most interesting parts of Alfama, Graca and wonderful viewpoints around Lisbon. I cannot recommend him enough. Polite and professional, Ago is the perfect driver to help you discover Lisbon!

Nice experience and lots of fun

Lisbon in tuk is really lovely and with Augustine we really enjoyed it. Handy and nice, he drove us through the narrow streets of Alfama and Mouraria, making us discover glimpses of cities that seem straight out of a novel. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Grazie Luca..ci vediamo in Italia!!

Alfama and Mouraria: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does Alfama and Mouraria cost?

    +

Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Alfama and Mouraria take?

    +

Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is Alfama and Mouraria worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Alfama and Mouraria?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Alfama and Mouraria suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Alfama and Mouraria?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Alfama and Mouraria start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
