City of the Trullis

Picturesque town with many trulli, most of which have been converted into craft shops. Be careful with the streets and stairs, they are very slippery.

A must see

Fascinating place to visit and walk the fairytale-like streets. Certainly different than anything we've seen before... remarkable history. Probably a good destination for 2-3 days at the most.

Everything you need with a simpatico guide

Our guide Michela was very knowledgeable about the history of the Itria Valley and the trulli of Alberobello. She was engaging, had many anecdotes and personally knew the families who lived in the various Trullo we visited. Fun and informative

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review,It really means a lot to us.

The guide and tour was incredible!

The guide and tour was incredible! Great pace and a full immersion in the local culture of Alberobello. My highlight was meeting with the families who still live in the Trulli, share wine and taralli with them while they were telling us their life stories.

Highly Recommend

Highly recommend this personal tour. Our guide was fluent in language and knowledge. Passionate about the history and personally knew the local people and homes we toured. It was so nice NOT to be part of a large crowd and the amount of time was sufficient to see the area.

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Alberobello & Locorotondo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Alberobello & Locorotondo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
