Friendly guide and a lot to learn!

My family and I went on private day-tours to N. Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro. Our welcoming and friendly tour-guide, Gesi, provided us with a lot of knowledge of local customs and history. He picked us up in a minivan each morning at our hotel. As it is a long drive to these destinations, he made sure we had a reasonable amount of pitstops on the way. We visited the historical cities of Budva & Kotor, Struga and Ohrid, and Prizeen. We enjoyed every minute of the tour, and will most definitely order new trips for our future adventures of the Balkans!

Gems of Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia.

We did the tour with our guide Ardit. He has a mountain of knowledge with a good sense of humour. We saw beautiful scenery, experienced local food and learnt so much about the history of the 3 countries that we visited. I would highly recommend this tour and our guide Ardit.

Delightful & Fascinating Balkans Tour

Our 9 day private tour of Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia was excellent. The itinerary offered a good balance between cultural/historical versus natural history destinations. The trip planning and coordination was top notch. With one exception, the hotels were first class. Our guide, Juljan Bradasheshi, was very warm, knowledgeable, and efficient. Thank you!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind words, we hope to welcome you again!

Friendly journey

This extraordinary journey through the Balkans (Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo)allowed me to explore a diverse range of cultures, experience breathtaking landscapes, and create memories that will last a lifetime. The itinerary was perfectly crafted, offering a well-balanced mix of iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and authentic cultural encounters. We loved st Naum and Prizren and our guide Juxhin was excellent If you're looking for an extraordinary travel experience that combines three Balkans countries into one unforgettable journey, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and Choose Balkans.

Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tirana.

How much does Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $1795 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tirana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tirana is not rushed.

Is Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Tirana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tirana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tirana and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Albania, Kosovo & N. Macedonia; Semi - Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tirana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Tirana?

+

On Outty we rank every Tirana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include From Tirana- Hiking Tour to Bovilla Lake & Gamti Mountain, From Tirana / Durres: Gamti Mountain and Bovilla lake Day Trip, Kruja castle, the old Bazaar & Sarisalltik- Departure from Tirana. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Tirana?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Tirana?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
