Tour of Turkiye (Agean Sea)

The tour was a highlight of our trip to Turkiye. Our guide Tamer was so welcoming and friendly, as was our driver Seyfi. The tour took us to key sites along the Agean Sea including Gallipoli, Troy, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Hierapolis and Cappadocia. Tamer had a wealth of knowledge about the features and history of each site, and was able to accommodate requests from the group. Tamer is clearly experienced based on the great reactions from staff at each site. We loved the food recommendations along the journey. Highly recommend this tour and company. Thank you Tamer and Seyfi for a great week, and Fez for a seamless booking process.

Response from the operator: We’re thrilled to hear that the tour was a highlight of your trip to Türkiye and that you enjoyed visiting so many iconic sites along the Aegean and beyond – from Gallipoli and Troy to Ephesus, Pamukkale, Hierapolis and Cappadocia. It’s especially rewarding to know that Tamer and Seyfi helped make the experience so memorable. Tamer’s welcoming attitude, knowledge, flexibility with the group’s requests, and the warm welcome he receives from staff along the way are exactly what we hope our guests will experience. We’re also very happy that Seyfi’s friendly manner and safe driving, as well as the food recommendations along the journey, added to your enjoyment. Thank you as well for your kind words about our booking process – we’re pleased to hear everything felt seamless from start to finish. We truly appreciate your recommendation and will be sure to pass your lovely feedback on to Tamer and Seyfi. It would be a pleasure to welcome you back on another Fez Travel tour in the future.

Tour Turkey must see!!

The tour was amazing, Turkey fascinating and the experience very good with our guide Tamer always attentive, pending and with the best tips from each place. I didn’t like that on the carpet and leather tour, they were insistent on buying products. My favorite part the balloon ride in Cappadocia, spectacular!!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had an incredible experience in Turkey and enjoyed Tamer’s attentive guidance and helpful tips. Cappadocia’s balloon ride is truly a highlight, and we're so glad it was your favorite part of the tour! We understand your concerns about the carpet and leather tour. These crafts are a significant part of Turkish culture, and while many travelers enjoy learning about them, we do acknowledge that, due to cultural differences and language barriers, the behavior of the sellers might sometimes seem pushy. Our guides always emphasize that there’s no obligation to purchase anything, and we appreciate your understanding of this cultural aspect. We hope to welcome you back for another amazing adventure soon!

Great experience for Turkey!!

Tamer was a great guide! I support the group every time we need it. He is a guide who is passionate about his work and does it very well! The only thing I didn’t like was that they took us to the carpet experiences and the vendors were very invasive, as was the brand experience because. Experience time is lost and if you are not interested it is not necessary.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback on the 7-Day Aegean Prelude Tour! We're so glad to hear that Tamer's dedication and support made a positive impact on your trip. We appreciate your honesty regarding the shopping experiences. We understand that experiences like visiting carpet, leather, ceramics, and gold shops might not be for everyone. These crafts are an integral part of Turkish culture, and over the years, many travelers have shown great interest in learning about their production. Some guests also find these experiences fascinating, especially the way the sellers demonstrate the making of carpets and leather goods, as it reflects a unique cultural aspect. We do acknowledge that, due to cultural differences and language barriers, the behavior of the sellers might sometimes seem pushy. However, our guides always make it clear that purchasing is completely optional, and there’s no obligation to buy anything. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to ensure that these experiences are as enjoyable and respectful as possible for all travelers. Looking forward to welcoming you back for another adventure!

How far in advance should I book Aegean Prelude 7-Day Tour from Istanbul?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Istanbul?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Istanbul?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
