At the entrance of the Halikiopoulos lagoon is located one of the most famous sights of Corfu, but also of the whole of Europe, which is none other than the much-photographed Pontikonisi - Mouse Island. Its name impresses even after so many years of fame. The area of Kanoni and Mouse Island has been for centuries a source of inspiration for many artists while at the same time there has been a scene in major productions of Greek and foreign cinema. Holy Monastery of Panagia Vlacherna This picturesque church was built in the 17th century and around 1980 it was abandoned by the last monk who lived there. This is a very small religious church with a two-storey bell tower that "floats" on the footbridge.

Kaiser's Throne
Emperor Wilhelm the 2nd was attracted by Corfu Island. Consequently he decided in 1907 to buy the Achilleion Palace from Princess Sissy of Austria and create it his residence on the island. As he actively assisted in the excavations of Agios Theodoros in Garitsa bay, there are many buildings and landmarks that bear his name, such as the beautiful Kaiser Bridge which was built for direct access from the Achilleion Palace to the beach which was partially destroyed during the Second World War Shortly before his death, during 1914, he decided to leave a viewpoint as a unique gift for the locals and visitors to the island. That was his private observatory, where he found peace and enjoyed the amazing vista and breathtaking, surrounding beauty of oil-rich Corfu. The Kaiser’s observatory or throne attracts visitors from all over the world for its stunning views and the detail that makes it stand out.

Paleokastritsa Monastery
The church is of single aisled basilica rhythm with a wooden roof and it is considered a sample of the monastic architecture. A typical bell-tower of Ionian style is located in the courtyard. Priceless pictures of Byzantine and post-Byzantine period decorate the interior, while a sample of the wealth of the monastery one can also notice in the small museum that operates in its interior. In the museum of the Monastery of Palaiokastritsa you will also see a skeleton of a whale which is said to have killed a fisherman during the 19th century. In the 19th century, during the British rule the monastery was used as a military hospital, while during the same period the road towards the Monastery of Palaiokastritsa was constructed.

Lakones
The village of Lakones is literally "hung" on the edge of the cliff. The view from above is breathtaking and is probably the most beautiful on the whole island. Yacht Experience
We did a 5 hour yacht tour with a few swimming stops and are now home back in the States, after asking my ENTIRE group of 14 friends what was their favorite part of our trip (8 day cruise on Norwegian) they all replied with the YACHT tour on Adriatic Sea in Corfu. This tour was affordable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the Yacht more than met our needs, the snacks, drinks, waters, towels, music and all the stops to swim were just perfect!! Such a beautiful place. Words do not describe this experience. THE BEST DAY EVER! Communication was easy and thorough via email. And I don’t want to forget Maria our driver who picked us up at our port and transported us to the yacht, she was awesome. 10plus stars for this day!! Thank YOU!

Highly Recommend The Corfu Experience!
From start to finish, it was a day that was beyond incredible. The crew, the boat, the tour and the related activities -- paddle boarding, swimming in the caves, snorkeling and lunch in town -- were beyond amazing. It was the highlight of our family trip to Corfu! Not to be missed and highly recommend!

Great Tour
We are truly happy with our tour. They were waiting for us exactly were we got off. The tour guide was excelent, we took the tour in spanish which isn't that easy to find. She was very knowledgeable of the island and it's history. She recommended a great resturant. Would completely recommend for anyone visiting Corfu.
