    Panos was the greatest,...

Panos was the greatest, he gave us an in depth history of the gods of Athens and the Pantheon before we visited the ruins. Then he guided us through the city of Athens, with detailed information about each historic site. He was cordial and patient.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that Panos made your experience in Athens so memorable. His in-depth knowledge, engaging explanations of Greek mythology and history, as well as his cordial and patient approach, clearly added something special to your visit. We will be very happy to share your kind words with Panos. Thank you for choosing Key Tours, and we hope to welcome you back for another fascinating experience in Greece! Kind regards, The Key Tours Team

It is hot in July at noon!!! But so worth every step and drip of sweat! Took the 6 year old all the way and she was a champ!

Response from the operator: Dear Wayne, Thank you for your great review! We're delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed your visit to the Acropolis. Athens can certainly be very warm in July, but we're glad to know that the experience was worth every step—and a big congratulations to your six-year-old for being such a champion! The Acropolis is an unforgettable site, and we hope the incredible views and fascinating history made for lasting family memories. Thank you for choosing Key Tours. We hope to welcome you back for more wonderful experiences in Greece! Kind regards, The Key Tours Team

    Terrible customer service!

Book with caution. Flights and customs are often delayed into Greece. This company is not flexible with uncontrollable flight delays, and when calling their representatives, they do not assist. Our reservation could’ve absolutely been adjusted with their guidance and help. Instead they left us unassisted the day of our arrival and we lost hundreds of dollars.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry that flight and customs delays affected your arrival and understand how frustrating that must have been. Unfortunately, entry to the site is strictly regulated by government-issued timed-entry tickets. Once the reserved timeslot has passed, we are not permitted to modify or honor the ticket, regardless of the reason for the delay. These regulations apply to all visitors and are outside our control. We always do our best to assist our guests within these restrictions, and we're sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Best Regards, Marianna Papakosta

    Overpriced

Keep in mind buying tickets at the gate is only 30 euros, which is far less than this costs. Nothing wrong with this, but its nothing special. It basically let's you skip a line waiting for a ticket at the gate and but then you have to wait to get in.

Response from the operator: Dear Michael, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify that our service is more than simply the entrance ticket itself. In addition to securing admission, the package includes the convenience of advance booking, ticket delivery, and access to a self-guided audio tour designed to enhance the visit with historical context and insights. While tickets may be purchased directly at the archaeological site, availability can vary, particularly during peak periods, and many travelers prefer the convenience of having their arrangements completed in advance before arriving at the Acropolis. That said, we understand that different travelers place different value on convenience and additional services. We are pleased that the ticket worked as intended and allowed you to avoid the ticket-purchase queue, even though access to the site itself is subject to the standard entrance procedures and security checks that apply to all visitors. Thank you again for your feedback. Kind regards, The KeyTours Team

    Unacceptable behavior by Viator

I booked the tour and Viator charged me but because of a system glitch the tour was booked at the wrong time. I called the tour operator immediately and they told me they couldn’t help me and to call Viator. I did and basically Viator said the same thing. I’m out $107 because of a Viator issue and that’s too bad for me. This is unacceptable. Viator owes me $107. I will never use Viator again.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns with us, and please accept our sincere apologies for the frustration and disappointment this experience has caused. We have carefully reviewed the booking details in our system, including the reservation and ticket status, and we were unable to identify any issues with the booking or the tickets themselves. Based on our records, the reservation was successfully created as confirmed. While our review does not indicate a system error affecting the booking confirmation, we genuinely regret the negative experience you have had. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, and we never want any guest to feel unsupported or unheard. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours cost?

    +

Prices start at $6 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.2/5 across 618 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours?

    +

Around 216 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Acropolis & Parthenon Entrance Ticket w/optional SG Audio Tours start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
