Good Visit With Amazing Acropolis City Views
The Acropolis was very interesting and the Parthenon looked amazing. Entry was quite easy, but it was busy in some areas. I suggest going early morning and taking water. The audio guide was helpful too.

We went to the Acropolis by 7:30 in the morning with my confirmed printout from Tripadvisor. I paid $356 for four adult tickets my reference 139-038-0241. I could not get in using this ticket so we had to re-purchase tickets. I need to be reimbursed for the $356. That’s too much money to walk away from also we wasted two hours trying to get intothe Acropolis. I have always had good experiences with Tripadvisor in the past. This was disappointing and I wanna make sure you have the opportunity to it right in credit my account Colleen Morse phone number 714-851-4321 and my email Colleenmorse7@gmail.com We just returned from our trip last night, so this was the first opportunity that I’ve had to contact you

Complete waste of money. Do not book with TripAdvisor. Save your money at book at the ticket office.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide a convenient and reliable booking service, including secure reservations, customer support, and advance ticket confirmation. While tickets may also be available at the attraction's ticket office, many travelers choose to book in advance to secure their preferred date and avoid the risk of tickets selling out during busy periods. We sincerely regret that you did not feel our service provided the value you expected. Your feedback has been shared with our team as we continuously work to improve our service and provide a better experience for all our customers. We appreciate your comments and thank you for giving us the opportunity to assist with your booking.

Waste of money.
The local tour company you used did not communicate how to get audio guides so we weren’t able to figure it out and no one answered their phone. Waste of money. Just download the audio guide that the acropolis gives you for free. Tried but was refused refund.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. The audio guide instructions are included in the information sent before the activity, and the guide is provided through a third party platform that requires activation using the details supplied after booking. We understand how frustrating it can be if there are difficulties accessing it during your visit. We also apologize if you were unable to reach our support team at the time. We continuously work to improve our communication and response times to better assist our guests. As the audio guide access and ticket arrangements are processed in advance, refunds are subject to the terms agreed upon at the time of booking. However, we appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve the clarity of our instructions for future travelers. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Why this scores 40
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.
How much does Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $72 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.
Is Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 40 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.3/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Acropolis Parthenon Tickets with Optional Audio Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Athens?
+
On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Athens?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Athens?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
