Tour filled with night market magic
Asosua is who you want as a tour guide!!! She is smart, funny, and very considerate. From start to finish, she thought of everything. She described how to get to the market, provided detailed info where to meet and what she was wearing, throughout the night made sure we were treated to the best of the best, bought us a wide variety of items, and even provided a large tote to carry away the leftover food. The stall owners clearly know and respect her. This made us feel like we were getting an inside scoop and backstage pass to all the fun. I had a list of traditional food and drinks I wanted to try. Bring your appetite because she bought full sized portions, made sure we got most of the items on our list, and even treated us to some other surprises. She even provided several traditional snacks (later we saw the snacks are local favorites sold all over Accra) to take home. She also made sure we got in our ride share safely. If that wasn't enough, she also sent a list of what we ate and pictures/video she took along the way. If you want to learn about local culture and food, then this is the perfect tour for you. The night market itself takes up a few blocks and is jammed packed with stalls. It was definitely a great sampling of Ghanaian food, music, and style. So many vendors to see and items to see, taste, and smell. It's super clean, filled with music and merriment, and is truly a sight to be seen.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this review, reading this completely made my day. It was an absolute pleasure showing you around. Come back to Ghana 🇬🇭 soon !!!

Yummy
It was a great experience!!!!!! Come hungry. Alcohol isn't included but if you want some she can show you where to get it. Pro-tip: bring a list of everything you want to try. Towards the end, we got full and forgot to try some things on our list. With a list you can better plan out your tour. I would definitely do this tour again
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this review. Medaase paa

Is Accra Osu Night Market Food Tour with Akosua Serwaa worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Accra, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Is Accra Osu Night Market Food Tour with Akosua Serwaa suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book Accra Osu Night Market Food Tour with Akosua Serwaa?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Accra can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Accra and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Accra within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Accra?
+
On Outty we rank every Accra experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Experience the Beauty, History and the Culture Of Accra in a Day, Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle & Kakum National Park Day Tour, Accra Guided City Tour: Cultural and Historical Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Accra?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Accra?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
