Accessible Tromsø is Unique!
I booked this trip for my friend and myself choosing Accessible Tromsø as it specialises in enabling people with reduced mobility to visit Tromsø and surrounding area in comfort and safety. Both I and my friend are elderly with mobility issues. The day trip was a great success. The transport was comfortable, our guide spoke three languages moving from one to another with great fluidity and she was very informative and also fun as was Martin who drove. We were a small group with a gentleman in an electric wheelchair. The van was specially adapted which meant that getting on and off was easy at all the places we stopped. Special mention should be made that Accesible Tromsø is the only company in the area that caters for visitors with mobility issues. Their tours offer a wide range of day trips in and around Tromsø living up to their motto that nobody should be excluded from enjoying the because their mobility is limited. I hope to return next year and will most certainly take another trip with them.

Wonderful tour for all
This was an amazing tour. I loved the care that was taken into making the tour fully accessible whether that is for poor mobility, wheelchairs or other needs. Our guide Valentia was extremely knowledgeable about the area. It was nice to see other parts of Tromso that would have not been able to be view in a big tour group. 10/10 would highly recommend

Highly recommended!
Excellent experience with this tour company. Our guide Martin was funny, entertaining and very knowledgeable. I learnt a lot not just about Tromso but many other subjects from nature to World War II and many more. He takes and provides pictures with the tour at the different stops with stunning views and also offers tours with wheelchair accessibility. Highly recommended!!!

Phenomenal accessibility and local knowledge
We booked a trip as the only wheelchair option for an excursion on our ten day Fred Olsen cruise, and were blown away. Not only did they make our two wheelchair users feel like their access needs were as simple as breathing, the knowledge of the tour guide was exceptional, and the passion for the city of Tromso was intoxicating. They were really flexible and understanding when some of us wanted to do slightly different things (in part due to non physical disability), and the knowledge of wheelchairs and expertise in them was really above and beyond from our previous experiences! I’d hugely recommend this for anyone with access needs, and feel confident in recommending them as people who will treat you as an individual who deserves the best tourism experience. I’d probably book with them again as an individual with no access needs just based on the friendliness and knowledge :) We weren’t aware photos were included (and swiftly shared) which was such a lovely touch.
