Excellent, Unforgettable Safari!

Our safari experience was truly incredible, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a Kenya safari. We spent 8 days on safari and had a wonderful time throughout. Our driver, John, was exceptional kind, cheerful and always eager to help while ensuring we saw as much as possible. He played a big role in making our trip even more memorable. The only area that could use some improvement was the food during our first days at AA Lodge Mara, which did not quite meet expectations. However, the rest of the experience more than made up for it. The 8-day itinerary was perfect for us, offering a great balance of adventure and relaxation. The entire trip, including the balloon ride in the Maasai Mara, was well organized, comfortable, and very reasonably priced considering the high quality of service. Everything from accommodations to the additional activities we requested, was seamlessly arranged. Thank you to the team for such a fantastic and well-coordinated safari experience!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your feedback. We are extremely value your writing’s and duly consider your rating and viewpoint on our general service. We bound to improve and keep the safaris service up to its five stars. It is amazing that you have wonderful things to say about the beauty, comfort and conveniences of booking with Silver Spark Africa Safaris ltd. We appreciate your recommendations and stars on the safari service rating. Thank you

Great company for a safari

At first we were a bit hesitant to book directly with a local tour operator, but as soon as we arrived in Kenya the warm Welcoming of Abongo (the boss), Kevin and Edward erased all worries. Abongo is always available: it responds in a few minutes, is attentive to customer needs and looks for solutions for every request. Very competitive prices, thanks to the absence of intermediary agencies. Our driver Edward was impeccable: prudent, reliable driving, great respect for animals, kindness and promptness in resolving any unexpected. A true professional. The lodges chosen were from decent to great. In Kenya you have to know how to adapt to the local reality: if you are looking only for luxury 5-star hotels, maybe this is not the right trip. The tour was extraordinary: Tsavo, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara... breathtaking scenery, unforgettable sightings. An experience that I recommend without hesitation. I will definitely be back with Silver Spark for my next Kenya safari!

Excellent planning and execution of our safari and so helpful!

Our trip went very well, right from the start Silver Spark helped us. Special mention to Kepha and Abongo who made our trip really memorable. We booked an 8-day safari with Silver Spark Africa. Abongo, responds quickly to inquiries. This was my first safari in Africa, so I didn’t know what to expect: a competitive quote, excellent service, integrity, a reliable vehicle and a world class experience that is both unforgettable and safe all I could have asked for from them. We are patrons of the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, so this safari was customized to allow us to spend time with foster elephant babies at both Ithumba and the Voi Stockade, as well as the Nairobi Nursery. Peter was also our driver, always punctual with our visitation schedule at the orphanages. Ithumba must be the only place on earth where one can view wild elephants in such large numbers as they mingle with the orphans and other support workers, such an extraordinary experience. We enjoyed several game drives in Tsavo West and East National Park. Peter, has a good eye and strong instinct when it comes to viewing wildlife. For anyone planning a Kenya / Tanzania safari, Silver Spark Africa should be your first contact.

Amaizing experience.

Am happy to have travel with Silver Spark. Our itinerary was full on, going from Nairobi the capital city of Kenya to deepest park of Kenya Samburu National park, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara and cross to Serengeti in Tanzania. Each of the parks had their own special appeal and animal adaptation. Our drivers Paul was excellent. Despite the rainy seasonal rain at night and morning, the experience of the guides allowed us to tick off the big five animals and have some unforgettable experiences with lion, hyena, elephant wildcat and Zebra. A drive did not go by without something that took our breath away. A real adventure, exploring Africa. Perfect accommodation, I love Elsamere Hotel in lake Naivasha.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your kind feedback. We are extremely happy that our company did its best to ensure you had an unforgettable 10-Days Amboseli, Lake Naivasha hells gate, Mt Longonot, Maasai Mara Safaris. We are glad that you enjoyed your trip with Silver Spark Africa Safaris. It is amazing that you have wonderful things to say about the beauty, comfort and conveniences of accommodation. We appreciate your recommendations and five-star safari service rating. Thank you

5-star experience!

Working with the entire team from SSAS woow! Abongo and Joel ware excellent in helping us prepare our trip. Our trip was fun. We stayed at Wajeei Camp on the first day to Maasai mara national reserve. Kepha was our guide. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful and a great driver. We went on 3 games drives through the park and each one was unique. He knows the area well and has great relationships with the other guides which seems essential for a great experience. We used a van to save on cost and the van was more comfortable. We found the van experience to be perfect for a short safari. We spent more time standing for the view as the windows are shorter than a safari jeep, but the comfort level was comparable. I must admit this company gets good review for a reason. At first i was a little nervous having them as my choice but i tell you i enjoyed everything. Based on our experience with the tour operator, I would recommend that you give Silver Spark Africa Safaris the chance to make your dream come true. Cheer SSAS!!!

8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park cost?

+

Prices start at $3250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park take?

+

Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 240-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 8 Days: Tsavo East National Park Amboseli, Nakuru, Maasai Mara Park start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
