Unforgettable pilgrimage

All arrangements were smooth and on time. We did not have to manage any logistics, which was great. Olgu is a fantastic Guide for the 7 Churches. He was patient and friendly and managed the timing of the tour well. He is knowledgeable and approachable and his guidance was both insightful and deeply spiritual, yet fun and interesting at the same time. He introduced us not only to the sites of the roots of our faith, but also the rich history of the area, the lovely local people and the incredible local cuisine. He arranged for us to experience some local customs and crafts and was with us every step. We will definitely tour with Olgu again. Our driver, Nuri, was also integral to our experience. He is quiet by nature, but friendly and confident and engaged with us. He was always on time, drove safely and kept us comfortable. Our pilgrimage was unforgettable. We thank you both.

The easiest and safest way to experience Turkey

Amazing Guide Gorki and driver Mesut, both of them did a really good job in making us feel safe. Gorki explained us really well everyplace we went. The experience of Turkey was amazing. Three days was more than enough to visit the seven churches and more. The price was worth it of course, we didn’t have any problem with the transport or had to worry on organizing something. There wasn’t a lot of people, we even got Maria’s house for ourselves at one moment. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to visit Turkey for the first time.

Delightful experience

I'm a historian researching Revelation, so I have been wanting to do a trip to all of these locations for years. We thought about renting a car and visiting all of these places ourselves, but I'm so glad we went the tour company route. This itinerary is excellent for the price, and Emre is a wonderful guide. The van was very comfortable, the driver was safe and skillful, and the hotels were relaxing. There are other places in Turkey that I want to visit in the future and will definitely plan to get in touch with Curio Travel when I do. Thanks!

Enjoyable, Informative and Fun - Would recommend.

We just returned from doing the 8 days Istanbul & 7 Churches Tour. It was G-reat! Despite the fact that we had a flight cancellation etc, Fezvi, our Curio tour operator rep was able to revise our itinerary to accommodate the changes and answered the questions we had before and during the trip which was reassuring. The choice of hotels  were good as well, especially the ones outside Istanbul, we loved the Spa Hotel Colossae Thermal, and the Efes hotel the most (because of  seaside view) and the modern concepts - Thank you so much Fevzi. Our tour guides were God-sent! Mustafa, our guide for the Istanbul leg was amazing, giving us the history behind the structures we visited and answering the questions we had. Should I also the mention the shops he recommended for our shopping🙂...?  ( Tree of life ceramics & gift shop, the Sah Sultan Turkish delight  and essential oil shop and the Istanbul Pashmina in the Grand Bazaar where they sell lovely Turkish silk scarfs . We had so much fun as Mustafa was quite friendly and humourous 😄. We would also like to put in a word and say Mustafa is the Man with (With a thumbs up 👍). Oh! There is more... Tan, Our guide in Izmir  for our tour of the  7 Churches in the book of Revelation was exceptional and great in taking us through the history and background information about the 7 Churches of Asia which gave us more understanding about the times in which the community of the Churches existed, and what the Church had to contend with. Tan also recommended eating places with excellent Turkish dinning which we enjoyed. We also visited and shopped at  the  Kapadokia Onyx shop and also bought some traditionally made raisins on the way. Tan and the driver took really good care of us with a tailor made service. Would highly recommend this tour👍. Michael and Bisi.

Hard working tour guide made experience great.

The entire tour was without a doubt insightful, educational, and very enjoyable, but our guide, Melih, stepped up time and again to make certain things kept moving smoothly when there were any issues.
