Overall five star experience
Booked this safari with Albert. We had heard good stories about Kenya & finally decided with my friends to visit the country and do a safari. This was the best first time experience we had. Got to see many wildlife thanks to our guide Jared. He was very careful on the road and quite knowledgeable about the parks as well as wildlife behaviour and how to spot them. Kenya cuisine is really good actually, the buffet style serving has a variety of stuff to choose from. The experience was overall five star. My friends and i cant wait to be back on another safari when we get the chance. Thanks to Africa Home Adventure for making this experience possible for us!
Response from the operator: My heartfelt thanks for sharing your wonderful safari experience with us. We are delighted to know that your first visit to Kenya was such a memorable one. It is especially rewarding to hear that Albert helped make the booking process smooth and that Jared's knowledge, careful driving, and passion for wildlife contributed to an unforgettable adventure. We are also pleased that you enjoyed Kenya's cuisine and had the opportunity to experience the country's incredible wildlife. Creating memorable journeys for our guests is what inspires us every day, and we are truly grateful to have been part of your first safari. It was a pleasure planning your adventure, and we look forward to welcoming you and your friends back to Kenya for another unforgettable safari.

A perfect 8 days with some of Kenya’s best wild life
African Home Adventure Safaris arranged an amazing 8 day tour of the Maasai Mara, lakes and Amboseli. Our guide Jared was a perfect host - super knowledgable and conscientious (and also just lovely to spend time with). Albert, whom we arranged this trip with, was responsive, very easy to communicate with and tailored the itinerary to suit our preferences. Our accommodation in the Mara and Amboseli was great - spacious, super clean and delicious food. We had an amazing time - highly recommend!

George & African Home Adventure Safaris are the best
We did an 8 day safari with African Home Adventure, with George as our guide. George is a highly competent, caring and wonderful human being. He picked us from Nairobi airport and showed us the city on our first day, although it was not part of our itinerary. We got to experience the beauty of Nairobi through the eyes of a local person. Our trip continued towards Ol Pejeta, Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate and ended at the mighty Masai Mara. At every location, George patiently explained each and every detail of every single animal we encountered. We got to see the Fabulous 7 and Ugly 5 and many more rare animals which we could spot only due to George's efforts. Faith Aboki from African Home Adventure was very helpful in responding to our requests and proposed a tailored plan as per our wishes. Overall, our safari was a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend George and African Home Adventure to anyone who is travelling to Kenya Safaris. Our Safari wouldn't have been the same without George. Thanks a lot George. Asante Sana Sana 🙂

Happy times shared
My friend and I recently embarked on an unforgettable journey with Super Africa Wildlife and Adventure Safaris to Hell's Gate. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The safari offered a unique blend of breathtaking landscapes and exhilarating wildlife encounters. From cycling amidst herds of zebra and giraffes to exploring the towering cliffs and geothermal wonders, every moment was a thrill. The guides from Super Africa were knowledgeable and passionate, providing insights into the region's rich biodiversity. The personalized attention to safety and comfort made the trip truly enjoyable. Hell's Gate with Super Africa is not just a safari; it's an immersive adventure that leaves you with lasting memories of nature's wonders and the thrill of the wild.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara cost?
+
Prices start at $2800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 8 Days Safari to Amboseli, Great Rift Valley Lakes & Masai Mara start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
