Nepal in 8 days

Had a great time! Overall was a fun experience… road trip from Kathmandu to Chitwan was a bumpy ride so if you’re one to get car sick easily try see if you can get a flight option. Visibility of the mountains is all due to Mother Nature unfortunately but it was still a great experience. The jungle safari and lodge was great.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that you had a great time exploring Nepal and enjoyed the overall experience. Nepal’s diverse landscapes make every journey unique, and we’re happy that the adventure—from Kathmandu to Chitwan—became a memorable part of your trip. We truly appreciate your honest feedback regarding the road journey. Mountain and highway roads in Nepal can sometimes be bumpy, and your suggestion about choosing flight options for travelers sensitive to motion sickness is very helpful for future visitors. We’re also glad that you enjoyed the jungle safari and lodge experience in Chitwan. Experiencing Nepal’s wildlife and natural beauty is always something special. And yes, mountain visibility is truly in the hands of Mother Nature—but we’re happy to know the experience was still worthwhile for you. Thank you again for choosing Luxury Holidays Nepal. We hope to welcome you back for even more unforgettable adventures in the future! Warm Regards, Luxury Holidays Nepal Team

TRIP PLANNED WITH A PERSONAL TOUCH

Just got back from an awesome 7 day trip to Nepal. Right from the enquiry stage, Mr Resham won us over with his prompt and appropriate responses. He took the time to understand our interests and recommended places and built a 7 day itinerary for us that felt like it was personalised and suited for our interests. He was very flexible with making adjustments to the itinerary as per our needs too !! Right from the pick up on arrival, all the way through to drop off, every detail of our trip was executed perfectly. All the hotels they had booked for us were lovely , the guides and drivers who took us and showed us round were really nice and very friendly. But special mentions for Asmita - our guide in Kathmandu who was so sweet and friendly and also very knoweledgeable; Hari - our guide in Chitwan, who was very very knowledgeable, very friendly and also clearly very passionate about wildlife in the area. Our drivers Mr Bhawani and Mr Krishna both were also very very friendly and very helpful. Long drives with Mr Bhawani did not seem tiring at all - his stories, his chats kept us well occupied and made the journey feel shorter than it actually was. He was also very careful with his driving, we never felt unsafe on the road with him. Thanks to the entire team involved in the planning and execution of our trip, we enjoyed an amazing holiday in Nepal and were able to enjoy not just the beautiful landscapes and culture of Nepal, but also the lovely people of Nepal. We have brought back so many fond memories from this trip ...memories that will always bring a smile to us, when we think back of our time in Nepal :-) Mr Resham, thank you so much for arranging for me to try out Titaaura - I enjoyed them everyday of our trip and had a yummy taste in my mouth every single day of my trip in Nepal thanks to you :-) Asmita ma'am, thank you so much for introducing us to Laphing ... and also for giving us our first taste of Momos in Nepal !! Thanks to you both, we also got to enjoy some yummy in the tummy during our trip :-) I would most definitely recommend yous to anyone i know who is looking to travel to Nepal so they can enjoy the same quality time we did in Nepal

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your 7-day trip to Nepal was such a memorable and personalized experience. A special thank you for your kind words about Mr. Resham, Asmita, Hari, Mr. Bhawani, and Mr. Krishna; we’re so glad our team made your journey smooth, enjoyable, and meaningful. We also love that you enjoyed local treats like Titaura, Laphing, and momos; those little moments make a trip even more special! Your recommendation means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you back to Nepal again soon! Warm Regards, Luxury Holidays Nepal Team

Visiting Nepal was even better than we expected

Our time in Nepal was truly special, with so much to enjoy from the ancient streets of Kathmandu, the animal filled forests of Chitwan and the Himalayas with beautiful rhododendron flowers. We spent our days eating delicious, affordable local food and soaking it all in at our own pace. We were so lucky to have Ram as our guide; he was incredibly friendly and really flexible with our specific needs, which made the whole experience stress-free. We’d recommend him to anyone looking for a genuine, hassle-free adventure.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re thrilled to hear that your time in Nepal exceeded expectations, from the ancient streets of Kathmandu to the wildlife in Chitwan and the breathtaking Himalayas. It’s fantastic that you enjoyed the local cuisine and could explore at your own pace. We’re especially happy that Ram made such a positive impact; his friendliness, flexibility, and attentiveness clearly helped make your adventure stress-free and memorable. Your recommendation means a lot, and we hope to welcome you back for even more unforgettable experiences in Nepal! Warm Regards, Luxury Holidays Nepal Team

Great tour! Incredible Nepal experience!

Excellent company! Resham who organized the trip was very helpful! The guides were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. My driver Biren was great in managing the traffic and bringing us safely to all destinations. The best was the Everest scenic flight and paragliding in Pokhara which I booked extra to the trip. I can highly recommend the company when travelling through Nepal.

We will certainly pass along your compliments to Biren as well; his dedication to ensuring safe travels through traffic is invaluable, and we are glad he contributed positively to your adventure. 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join cost?

+

Prices start at $650 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join take?

+

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 8 Days Kathmandu, Chitwan & Pokhara Tour – Private / Group Join start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
