The best Trip
The trip to Mount Kilimanjaro and the safari with Spirit of Kilimanjaro was an absolutely unforgettable experience and truly one of the best adventures of my life. Climbing Kilimanjaro was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The changing landscapes, from lush rainforest to alpine desert and finally the snowy summit, were breathtaking. The safari was equally amazing. Seeing wild animals in their natural habitat was beyond anything I had imagined. Lions, elephants, giraffes, and zebras so close, moving freely across the vast savannah, was simply magical. The beauty of nature, the peaceful atmosphere, and the incredible views made every day special. The hotels and accommodations were of a very high standard — clean, comfortable, and cozy, which made it easy to relax and recharge after full days of adventure. The entire journey with Spirit of good organized, safe, and inspiring. It combined adventure, nature, and personal achievement in the best possible way. I highly recommend Spirit of Kilimanjaro to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with wonder, excitement, and unforgettable memories.

Exceptional experience with Spirit of Kilimanjaro!
We had a wonderful trekking experience on the 8 day Lemosho route with Spirit of Kilimanjaro! Our guides Sanke and Joseph led us up the mountain skillfully, safely, and with care and kindness. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a once in a lifetime experience. The chef prepared delicious meals that met our dietary restrictions, and the porters worked incredibly hard. The experience overall was 10/10. I recommend you add the warmer sleeping bag and do yourself a favor and add the personal toilet.

Reputable way to go for Kili
Nothing but good things to say about my experience with this company. The guides, Sanke and Joseph, are fun and professional, and left us feeling safe and informed. The food was beyond expectations and the porters were hard working with a smile. It was great to see the whole crew having fun together throughout the trek.

The journey was incredible, our principal guide, Rama, has been really helpfull and kind with us. He took the time to explain to us many things about the mountain, the flowers and everything and he really take care of us. His team was also incredible. Porters done an incredible job, the waiter as been at our services at every moment and so kind and the cooker is so good, that we think he should open a restaurant in Paris. We will keep those guys and the mountain in our memories for ever.

8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.
How much does 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route cost?
+
Prices start at $2,670 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.
Is 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moshi?
+
On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Half Day Tour, Kilimanjaro climb, Machame Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moshi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moshi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route?
+
Included: Lunch; Dinner; and Breakfast. Not included: Visa; and International flights. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does 8 Day Climbing Kilimanjaro Via Lemosho Route include hotel pickup?
