Exceptional 7‑Day Private Tour with Erick – Highly Recommended!
We booked the 7‑day private journey from Quito to Guayaquil with stops in Quilotoa, Baños, Alausi, Chimborazo, and Cuenca, and it turned out to be one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. The main reason: Erick from Wanderbus.. Erick is an outstanding driver and guide — professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of Ecuador. From day one, we felt safe, well taken care of, and completely relaxed. What made this trip unforgettable: Perfect organization: Every day was well‑planned, smooth, and stress‑free. Local insights: Erick showed us amazing viewpoints, authentic restaurants, local markets, and hidden spots we would have never found on our own. Flexibility: He adapted the itinerary whenever we wanted to stay longer or make spontaneous stops. Warm personality: Traveling with Erick felt like traveling with a trusted friend. Safety first: Especially on the mountain roads around Chimborazo, and during our drive through Durán, we always felt completely safe. Baños was full of adventure, the landscapes around Chimborazo were breathtaking, Cuenca was a cultural highlight, and arriving in Guayaquil was the perfect ending to an incredible week. If you want to explore Ecuador in a safe, authentic, and enjoyable way, we can recommend Erick without hesitation. He made this journey truly special.

An exceptional glimpse of Ecuador that you’ll treasure for life.
This experience was the absolute jewel in my South American adventure. It was well planned & we were advised in advance of terrain, climate & cultural info. Each stop exceeded our expectations with wow factor. Our guide Jose was so well informed & seemed to answer our many questions before we asked. Jose is by far the best guide I’ve had in this part of the world - he is clearly admired & respected by all of the indigenous hosts where we shared meals of delicious local dishes or were privileged to experience cultural rituals. Both Jose & Paul (our brilliant driver) cared for each of our extremely diverse group. I was encouraged & assisted in so many ways it has been a life experience of the highest value. Don’t hesitate- you will get a precious treasure from WanderBus Ecuador & I hope you’re lucky enough to travel with Jose & Paul - truely extraordinary humans that will show you the heart & soul of Ecuador. A nation that’s doing its best to retain its Cultural Heritage, natural medicines & stunning environment & animals. 🌺
Response from the operator: Dear Jolettef, thank you for taking the time to write a review of your trip with Wanderbus Ecuador. We're delighted to know that Jose provided you with valuable knowledge and made the days enjoyable for you. It's always a pleasure when our guides can share insights and enhance the overall experience. We will let Jose and Paul know how pleased you are with the service and experience they provide. Thank you from the entire Wanderbus team!

7 Days Quito - Montañita Visiting Andes, Amazon and coast: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quito.
How much does 7 Days Quito - Montañita Visiting Andes, Amazon and coast cost?

Is 7 Days Quito - Montañita Visiting Andes, Amazon and coast worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quito, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Days Quito - Montañita Visiting Andes, Amazon and coast?
+

Is 7 Days Quito - Montañita Visiting Andes, Amazon and coast suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book 7 Days Quito - Montañita Visiting Andes, Amazon and coast?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quito can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quito and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7 Days Quito - Montañita Visiting Andes, Amazon and coast start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quito within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quito?
+
On Outty we rank every Quito experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cotopaxi tour from Quito -horseback ride and hike-NO TOURISTY way, Baños Full Day Tour from Quito Including Entrances and Activities, Gastronomic and Cultural Walking Tour of Quito with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quito?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quito?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
