George Turned Our 7-Day Kenya Safari into Pure Magic

My partner and I did a seven-day Kenya safari with Flexivel Kenya Safaris, and I still can’t stop smiling every time I look at the photos. From the moment we landed until the last goodbye, everything felt seamless, personal, and full of those little moments that stay with you forever. Our driver and guide, George, was the absolute heart of the trip. Patient, funny, ridiculously knowledgeable, and somehow always in the right place at the right time. He didn’t just show us animals he taught us how to read the bush, explained bird calls, and shared stories that made every drive feel like we were exploring with a friend who’d lived there his whole life. Early mornings, long days, dusty tracks… George kept the energy high and never once made us feel rushed. Honestly, he turned a great safari into an unforgettable one. We started in Samburu Reserve and were blown away right away. The landscape felt wilder and more open than we’d expected, and the wildlife was incredible, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, gerenuks standing on their hind legs to feed, and a leopard that George somehow spotted lounging in a tree when the rest of us saw only leaves. The river scenes were pure magic, especially in the soft evening light. From there we headed to Lake Nakuru. The pink flamingos stretching across the water looked like something out of a dream, and the rhino sightings (both black and white) were pure adrenaline. George positioned the vehicle perfectly so we could just sit and watch without disturbing them. Quiet, respectful, and completely immersive. Then came the Masai Mara, and wow… it lived up to every expectation and then some. Endless plains, huge herds of wildebeest and zebra, lions resting under acacias, a cheetah on the hunt in the golden light, and one unforgettable morning where we watched a pride of lions with cubs just meters away. George’s timing and intuition made every game drive feel special rather than touristy. Sunsets over the Mara with a cold drink in hand will stay with me forever. We wrapped up at Lake Naivasha, which was the perfect softer ending. Boat rides among hippos and birds, walking among the acacias, and that peaceful feeling after days of intense wildlife viewing. It gave us time to breathe, laugh about the week’s highlights, and just soak it all in. The whole trip felt well-paced not too rushed, not too slow with comfortable stays and meals that hit the spot after long days out. Flexivel Kenya Safaris took care of every detail so we could just be present. If you’re looking for a safari that feels genuine, well-organized, and led by someone who truly loves what they do, go with them and ask for George. We’re already dreaming about the next one. Highly, highly recommended.

From Samburu to the Mara: seven Days of Pure Wild Magic

This was the most unforgettable 6-day safari of my life and I’m still buzzing. Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, and Lake Naivasha delivered everything I hoped for and more. Every single day felt like a highlight reel. Our driver guide David was absolute gold. Knowledgeable, calm under pressure, funny, and somehow always in the right place at the right time. He turned what could have been just another tour into a proper adventure. Couldn’t have asked for better. We kicked off in Samburu and the landscape already felt different, drier, wilder, more dramatic. The special five showed up quickly: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, the whole lot. But the real showstoppers were the elephants and a massive buffalo herd that just owned the road. Lions lounged in the shade like they owned the place too. Lake Nakuru was pure magic. The flamingos were still there in numbers that make you stop talking mid-sentence. We got our first proper rhino sightings, both black and white, close enough that you could hear them breathe. Watching a rhino casually graze while the lake glittered behind it is something I’ll never forget. Then came the Masai Mara. This is where the Big Five box got fully ticked in the most cinematic way possible. Lions on a kill at first light. A leopard draped over a branch like it was posing for National Geographic. Elephants crossing the plains in a long dusty line. Buffalo staring us down like they were daring us to come closer. And the rhinos again, solid and prehistoric against that endless golden grass. We also had cheetahs on the hunt, hyenas doing their thing, and more wildebeest and zebra than you can count. Every game drive felt like we were driving through a wildlife documentary that hadn’t been edited yet. Lake Naivasha was the perfect wind-down. The boat ride was pure joy, hippos popping up like floating rocks, fish eagles screaming overhead, and that soft evening light turning the water gold. We also did a short walk and just sat watching the colobus monkeys and birds for a while. After the intensity of the Mara, it felt peaceful and complete. Everything ran smoothly. The lodges were comfortable, the food was solid, the vehicles held up, and David kept the whole thing flowing without ever rushing us. We saw the Big Five, did the boat ride, had those quiet moments under acacia trees, and laughed a lot in between. If you’re thinking about a classic Kenya circuit, do this one. Six days, four incredible places, and a guide who actually cares. Still smiling every time I look at the photos.

7 days perfect safari with George of Flexivel Kenya Safaris

We just ended our 7-day safari and I’m still smiling about the whole trip. We booked everything through Rachel and the process was straightforward from the first message, no stress, clear answers, and everything confirmed without any hassle. George was our guide and he was fantastic. He knew the parks inside out, spotted animals we would have completely missed, and kept the days interesting without rushing us. The Land Cruiser was clean, comfortable, and felt brand new, which made the long drives a lot easier. The lodges mara maisha camp, lake nakuru at sarova Lion Hill and amboseli at zebra praro camp, they chose for us were perfect. Every place felt special and the locations were excellent for game drives. This was our honeymoon and it really lived up to what we hoped for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone planning a safari. Everything went smoothly and we felt well looked after the entire time.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review, and congratulations once again on your honeymoon! ❤️ We’re delighted to hear that everything went smoothly from your first conversation with Rachel right through to the end of your seven-day safari. Knowing that you felt well looked after and could simply enjoy your honeymoon without worrying about the arrangements means a lot to us. We’ll definitely share your kind words with George. His knowledge of the parks, patience and ability to spot wildlife are qualities we really value, and we’re happy he made your experience so memorable. It’s also great to hear that you enjoyed the Land Cruiser and your stays at Mara Maisha Camp, Sarova Lion Hill and Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp. Choosing the right accommodation and keeping the journey comfortable is such an important part of a longer safari. Thank you for trusting Rachel, George and the entire Flexivel Kenya Safaris team with such a special journey. We wish you both a wonderful life together filled with many more adventures — and hopefully another trip to Kenya someday! Asante sana, and congratulations again!

Flawless Kenya safari from start to finish

We did a 7-day safari with Flexivel Kenya Safaris and I still can't stop thinking about it. Rachel and Jonathan put together the whole itinerary for us and everything ran so smoothly, Masai Mara (stayed at Kimana Camp), Lake Nakuru Lodge, and finished up in Amboseli at Zebra Plains Camp. Our guide George made the whole trip. He knew exactly where to find animals, was patient with all our questions, and somehow got us close enough to see the Big Five, lions lounging right by the vehicle, elephants crossing the road in front of us, the works. He clearly loves what he does and it showed the whole week. The lodges were comfortable and well chosen, and the pacing between parks felt easy, never rushed. If you're thinking about booking a Kenya safari, I'd go straight to Flexivel, ask for George if you can, he's the best.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review and for choosing Flexivel Kenya Safaris for your seven-day adventure! 😊 We’re really happy to hear that everything came together smoothly, from the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru to finishing your safari beneath Kilimanjaro in Amboseli. Seeing the Big Five, lions relaxing right beside the vehicle, and elephants crossing in front of you certainly makes for some unforgettable memories! 🦁🐘 Your words about George mean a lot to us. His knowledge, patience and genuine passion for wildlife are exactly why he is such an important part of our team. We’ll definitely make sure he sees your comments — especially the part where you called him the best! 😄 It was a pleasure for Rachel and Jonathan to put the itinerary together for you, and knowing that the accommodation, pacing and overall organisation allowed you to simply enjoy your safari is the best feedback we could receive. Thank you again for trusting and recommending Flexivel Kenya Safaris. Hopefully, this won't be your last Kenyan adventure! Asante sana from George, Rachel, Jonathan and the entire Flexivel Kenya Safaris team!

Samburu, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara: The Honeymoon of Our Dreams

We were recommend to book for our honeymoon safari in Kenya and I’m still smiling every time I think about it. We did a 7-day trip covering Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and the Masai Mara, and it was arranged by Jonathan. From the first email to the moment we left, everything felt smooth and personal. Our guide, George, made the whole experience special. He wasn’t just driving us around and pointing at animals he genuinely cared that we were having a good time. He knew exactly when to stop for photos, when to give us quiet moments alone, and when to share little stories about the places and the wildlife. We saw so much: elephants in Samburu, the flamingos and rhinos at Lake Nakuru, and the classic big cats and endless plains of the Mara. Every day felt different and exciting. What we loved most was how well the itinerary was planned. We never felt rushed, but we also never felt like we were wasting time. The lodges and camps were comfortable and in beautiful locations, the food was good, and the game drives were perfectly timed. George was patient with all our questions (and there were many), and he had this calm, steady way of handling everything that made us feel completely taken care of. As a honeymoon, it was perfect. Romantic sunsets, quiet moments watching the wildlife, and the kind of shared adventure we’ll talk about for years. Jonathan organised everything so well that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing just show up and enjoy.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful review, and congratulations again to you both! ❤️ We’re delighted that you chose Kenya for your honeymoon and trusted Flexivel Kenya Safaris to arrange such an important trip. Knowing that you could simply arrive, relax and enjoy the experience without worrying about the logistics is exactly what we aim for. It sounds like Kenya treated you well — elephants in Samburu, rhinos and flamingos at Lake Nakuru, and those incredible big cats and endless landscapes of the Maasai Mara. But some of the best safari memories are often the quieter ones: watching a sunset together, sitting silently at a wildlife sighting, or simply enjoying the African bush with someone special. Your words about George will mean a lot to him. His calm nature, patience and ability to understand when guests want information and when they simply want to enjoy the moment are a big part of what makes him such a wonderful guide. We’ll make sure he reads your comments. Thank you for trusting Jonathan, George and the entire Flexivel Kenya Safaris team with your honeymoon. We’re honoured to have played a small part in creating memories that you'll carry into your married life together. Asante sana, and we wish you both a lifetime of happiness and many more adventures together!

7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara cost?

+

Prices start at $3300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 74 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara?

+

Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7-Days Kenya Safari Samburu, Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, & Maasai Mara start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
