7 days around kenya – many good memories
i did 7 days trip covering mara, nakuru, bogoria, ol pejeta and lake naivasha. my guide was milton, very calm guy and easy to travel with. he explained things slowly and didn’t rush us anywhere. every day felt different. we saw a lot of animals… lions, rhinos, flamingos, elephants, even some rare ones in ol pejeta. bogoria flamingos were crazy beautiful, the whole lake was pink. i took so many photos there 😅 one of my fav moments was crossing the equator sign, small thing but felt special for me. the drives were long sometimes, but i actually enjoyed it… windows open, music, and just watching kenya change every few hours. accommodations were okay, food simple but warm and fine. i liked that milton always checked if we were comfortable and drinking enough water. small things but they matter on long days. overall the trip felt real, peaceful and full of small memories. came back tired but happy. if you like nature and long road trips, this route is perfect.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Arm for sharing this wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that your 7-day adventure through Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria, Ol Pejeta, and Lake Naivasha was such a meaningful experience. It’s great to know that each day felt unique and that you were able to spot so many incredible animals — from lions and rhinos to the stunning flamingos at Bogoria. That pink shoreline truly is unforgettable! We’re especially glad to hear that Milton made your journey comfortable and enjoyable. His calm nature, patience, and care for guests are qualities we value deeply, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Crossing the equator, enjoying the changing landscapes, and collecting those “small memories” are exactly what make these long road trips so special. We’re happy the accommodations and meals kept you comfortable throughout, and that the overall experience left you feeling peaceful and fulfilled. Thank you once again for choosing to travel with us. We’d be honored to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

+

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
