Amazing Safaris in Kenya

We took 7 days Safaris to Kenya with Perfect Wildness Tours and Safaris in the first week of August. It is an amazing and impressive trip. The company provided good quality and professional services. Part one was a group tour in Masai Mara Nation Park and part two was a private tour in Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate and Samburu National Reserve. The company has the best drivers. Tony is one of them as tour guide. He has sharp eyes to catch wild animals even they are in bush shadow areas with his professional skills and knowledgeable about the wild animals. We highly recommend his experiences.

Perfectly organized safari

We just finished a 7-day Safari from Nairobi to Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha (shared Safari) and Samburu (private Safari). Everything has gone very well and we have enjoyed a lot these days. The guides (Jeff, Joffrey and John) have been all very professional and the organization was great: always on time, kind attitude, driving safe, knowledgeable about animals... Really great drivers-guides!!! One of the hotels was doing renovations at the time of our visit and Betty changed it before our arrival for a better one. The communication with her via email/phone has been really good. Our emails were always replied in the same day. We would definitely repeat again!

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for leaving us this wonderful review. We are thrilled to read that you had an amazing safari with us and our driver guides and our tour consultant Betty contributed to this. they are indeed a true gem! They are dedicated and goes above and beyond to ensure clients have the best. The safari is one of the most beautiful destinations and lends one an opportunity to have a once-in a lifetime wildlife experience. We welcome you to explore other destinations in Kenya! Asante

Fantastic!

We actually did about 18 days in total with Perfect Wilderness Tours, including Nairobi, Gorillas in Uganda, Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and 5 days in Zanzibar. We were a private group of 5 people and the and experience in Eastern Africa was amazing. Our guides, Denis, Nathan and Douglas were great, and they looked after from us from first pick up at airport to final drop off home. I highly recommend this tour company. I organised it all via email from Australia and will definitely be recommending them to anyone considering travel to East Africa.

Car shut down just 20 mins from Nairobi airport, and again the next day in the middle of Maasai Mara

Basically as mentioned in the title, our car shut down shortly after pick up on the high way, so we slowly drove to a gas station and had to wait there for this driver to call for help from a "friend", and he later took almost half a day to fix his car when we had to squeeze a little space sharing with other customers in his "friend"'s car to visit Maasai Mara the first time. The next day he showed up promising the car is good to go but it shut down again in the middle of nowhere and the mid day heat. He tried to fix it for almost an hour so we had to sit there sweating, finally I emailed his company-perfect wilderness to complain and we got a car exchange on the third day. But the car is not landcruiser and much smaller than that we ordered in the booking and the driver/guide was not as knowledgable as the previous one, I even spotted a lion way before he did.. The trip went smooth in the following days but to conclude, if the company paid attention to these problems to well maintain their cars, we could have had a much better start.

Response from the operator: Hello, Thank you for sharing your feedback, both positive and constructive. We offer our sincerest apologies you did not enjoy your experience with us. The overall experience of our guests is of prime importance to us.Your comments is extremely valuable and have been discussed at length by our staff to ensure this does not occur in future. We strive to give nothing but the best experiences to our clients. We invite you to travel with us in future, to turn your experience around!

7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari cost?

+

Prices start at $1 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7 Day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Samburu Safari start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
