Loved this tour
Great tour of Ireland's countryside and west coast. Loved the sheep, the lodging was comfortable with breakfast. The biking and hiking was awesome(I completed Croagh Patrick in Westport) painful, but did it in 4 hrs! Lastly, our guide Jimmy! Very accommodating, friendly, and answered any questions we had. Although we were on the go everyday, he was very organized with our stops and made the trip comfortable. Just a little more communication needed at the start of the day, but maybe because I never received a detail itinerary from Overland and several of us had different info. Highly recommend this trip and Jimmy!! Can't wait to come back!
Response from the operator: Thank you for such a great review! We are so glad you enjoyed the west coast and the active highlights like hiking Croagh Patrick. Congratulations on completing it in such a fantastic time! It is wonderful to hear that Jimmy was so accommodating and helpful throughout the journey. We appreciate your feedback regarding the start of the day communication and the itinerary details. We will certainly look into our internal distribution to ensure all guests receive their full schedules ahead of time in the future. We would love to welcome you back to Ireland or for a new adventure in Portugal soon! Warmest regards, Tucker & all at Overland Tours

The Great Atlantic Adventure: 7 Day Tour Of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Charm August 2026
Overland tours provided us an informative and active trip, which is what we were looking to do. Our guide/driver/coordinator, Jimmy, was outgoing and funny and tried to make the trip special at both the individual and group level. He continually looked after us and went the extra mile (or KM) to make sure we were getting what we wanted. I would definitely request him again. The accommodations were what we expected, though some others in the group ran into issues. The food was good. The evening outings with everyone were fun. Our highlights were the sea kayaking in Dingle, the private tour at the Cliffs of Moher, the Abbey at Kylemore, and conquering Croagh Patrick. Our group was of varied ages and physical ability but Jimmy made sure everyone could participate to their level of ability. Definitely recommend this tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We are thrilled you enjoyed your trip. It is wonderful to hear that Jimmy went the extra mile to ensure the experience was special for everyone. We will be sure to pass your praise along to him. We also appreciate your feedback regarding accommodations and are glad you enjoyed the local highlights and evening outings. We would love to welcome you back to Ireland or for a new adventure in Portugal soon! Warmest regards, Tucker & all at Overland Tours

Great tour!
We did the southwest and west coast tour of Ireland and had a great experience. Our driver, Hugh, was excellent. He was genuinely knowledgeable about the history and culture of every place we visited and a great guide throughout. The itinerary was packed but well organized, and we saw many major sites. Highly recommend, and ask for Hugh if you can.
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing Overland for your adventure! We are delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful experience and that Hugh made your trip so informative and engaging. We will be sure to share your high praise with him. Thank you for your recommendation and we hope to welcome you back for another journey soon. Perhaps exploring the beauty of Portugal next time! Warmest regards, Jessica and all the Overland Team

Great trip, great value, great tour guide
My mom and I did the 7 day tour of Ireland. It was a lot of fun, a tour like this is def the best way to experience another country. Our tour guide Breda was extremely knowledgeable about Ireland and told us all about it's history while driving us around. It was great just to sit in a passenger seat and see all the sites. This was my first time leaving North America and was the best way to see a whole different country. I am going to strongly recommend this type of travel to my friends if they go to Ireland in the future and I hope they're lucky enough to get Breda as their tour guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We are thrilled to hear that you and your mom enjoyed the tour and that it was a wonderful introduction to your travels outside of North America. It is fantastic to know that Breda’s knowledge and storytelling added so much to your journey and we appreciate your kind recommendation. We would love to welcome you back to Ireland or perhaps on one of our small group tours in Portugal in the future! Warmest regards, Jessica & all at Overland Tours.

7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dublin.
How much does 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin cost?
+
Prices start at $2195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dublin usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dublin is not rushed.
Is 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 193 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Dublin, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin?
+
Around 68 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dublin can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dublin and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7-Day Great Atlantic Adventure Small-Group Tour of Ireland from Dublin start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dublin within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dublin?
+
On Outty we rank every Dublin experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dublin to Cliffs of Moher, including Wild Atlantic Way and Galway, Dublin Highlights and Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour, The Little Museum of Dublin Famous Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dublin?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dublin?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
