Capetown week getaway
We had a wonderful time exploring Capetown and Garden Route with Shabier and his team. We stayed for 9 days in Capetown and managed to visit all the places we wanted to go to. All the drivers were professional and polite. Special thanks to Sasa for the wonderful introduction to Cape town and adventures we had.
Response from the operator: Hello Sir, Glad everything worked as you have planned your holiday to be like and managed to complete all sightseeing.

Packed full with some chill
Our driver was fantastic, informative when needed . The itinerary was full, flexible and balanced. If you enjoy long scenic drives, this is a great tour. Mossel bay is a lovely surprise and definitely worth the 3 day stay. All I would say is, if you are doing Tsisikama suspension bridge walk make sure you leave extra early in the morning. We were a little laid back so we missed out, no fault of the driver. However, we did the elephant sanctuary and that was a fantastic ext that I’m glad I didn’t miss.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for choosing our company for your visit to South Africa, we glad we could make your holiday special and memorable. Thank you from Bitours Team Cape Town

Cape Town; Worth the Cost
I was told this would be the "Trip of a Life Time" and those individuals were wrong (in a way); I plan on returning in 2026 and in 2027! That said, it was an experience like no other and I understand why it is said to be a "Trip of a Life Time" and why many also said I would judge previous and future trips on the time time spent in Cape Town (they were not wrong about that at all. I strongly encourage all with the means to visit Cape Town; you will find Africa is not what is assumed. People live in nice homes, the food is delicious, and the people are among the nicest I have ever encounters in my 30 years of Military Travel and personal vacations over the years. I would suggest caution when using AirBnB; record your place when you arrive and when you leave. I was able to use my personal cell phone, with my carrier, however connections were spotty depending on where you are. McDonalds and other US based chain restaurants in Cape Town is not exactly like it is in the US; the sausage, pork, and beef are quite different and seems much healthier - and the bakery are unbelievable! There are people who don't ask for money, however they will ask you to buy food. And at the airport, there are very smooth talkers that wear name tags that they are "Airport Uber Driver", but there are taxis drivers. A trip that would have cost around $10 cost me over $60 (including the tip I gave which was dumb of me). Uber does come to the airport and the cost is very nice and tipping is easy. I can go on about the tip to Cape Town; it was safe, costs were low, food delicious, the environment inviting, and overall just a wonderful place.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the review

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does 7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route cost?
+
Prices start at $14000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is 7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 7- 10 Days Tour Package Cape Town and Garden Route start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
