Great experience in South Africa with Hotspots2c

Overall Rating is 5/5. It was a great experience that we bring home from Cape Town and Garden Route. I must admit that Denver, Daryl and special big G (Gerard) did a great job! I am so happy that we made it to the Table Top!!! Thanks to Big G who did not give up to the last minute. Bo-Kaap has become the Bonus ☺️ Everything happened as we have planned from day 1 until we board. Thank you so much, and until we meet again 👌 Cheers, Evelyn, and the group

Response from the operator: Aaah thank you so much for your wonderful 5 star review, Evelyn! We are delighted to hear that your time in Cape Town and along the Garden Route was such a meaningful experience to take home. Our guides Denver, Darryl, and of course “Big G” (Gerard!) will be over the moon to know they helped make your journey unforgettable. We love hearing that Big G’s determination got you all the way to the top of Table Mountain and that Bo-Kaap ended up being an unexpected bonus! Moments like these truly make a trip special. It’s great to hear that everything ran smoothly from the very first day right up until you boarded. Thank you for trusting us with your South African adventure. By travelling with us, your group also contributed to our #tour2Cchange efforts, helping us support local communities and promote responsible tourism along the way — something we deeply appreciate. 💛 We hope to welcome you all back again one day for another unforgettable journey. Great scenery tour

I’m going to divide this review into 3 1- 5 day Garden Route- great trip, Neville our guide / driver was fantastic, very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and always ready either way a smile. Trip was good, maybe Addo was a bit of a let down only because the safari previous to that was brilliant. Accommodation was great too. My only complaint was that there was too much travel time in the bus, however on looking how far we went there had to be, if I were to go it again I would chose a longer tour over the same route. 2- Wineland tour- absolutely fantastic! Great guide, great wines , great scenery and a wonderful lunch. 3- Cape Point Tour- scenery was amazing, felt a little rushed but a nice tour to see a different part of South Africa. Our driver/ guide was ok. Lunch was not great, I’m in South Africa on a tour I want South African food, not a greasy hamburger!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback on the 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands—we really appreciate you breaking down your experience. We’re so glad you enjoyed the Garden Route and that guide Neville’s professionalism and friendly approach stood out, as well as the accommodation along the way. We also appreciate your honest note on travel time - covering these distances does require time on the road, and we agree with your suggestion for those preferring a slower pace journey to rather book a longer tour. It's amazing to know that the Winelands portion of the tour package was also another highlight for you! We appreciate your feedback on meal choices and have shared this with our team and restaurant partners as we continue refining the experience. We always aim to include more local food options to showcase the country’s diverse flavours and culture. While smaller towns may have limited variety compared to what we'd like to see, they do offer that unique local countryside charm... Again thanks, and hope you'll be back in South Africa soon to explore more of our beautiful country, From Team Hotspots2c

Excellent Tour Company with high standard of Guides

Excellent communication with office and both our guides were great. Useful advice given too. Accommodation arranged was of a high standard and vehicles were also very comfortable for our tour. The company they recommended for our Kruger safari was very good too. Certainly would use them again.

We're really happy to hear that everything ran smoothly—from the planning stage with our office team right through to your time on the road with our awesome guides. Highly recommended

My wife and I had 7 wonderful days with Hotspots2c. We opted for the 5-day Garden Route tour and for 2 additional days for the Cape Peninsula and Winelands. I highly recommend these tours because I think they are the best option for those who want to make the most of their time in South Africa. You get to see so many beatiful places in a well organised way, which is better then going by yourself. A professional guide, like Isaac was in our case, can share so many things and you can get many insights that you can't otherwise get. We've made new friends with other tourists in our tour and we've made unforgettable memories.

Response from the operator: Wow, reading your 5-Star review just put the biggest smile on our faces! It’s amazing to hear how much you enjoyed exploring South Africa’s stunning landscapes, from the Garden Route to the Cape Peninsula and Winelands. Opting for the 7 Day Combo Tour sounds like the perfect way to maximize your time and take in all the beauty and charm the region has to offer. We couldn’t agree more—having a guide like Isaac makes all the difference! His insights, stories, and professional touch add depth to the experience that simply can’t be matched when traveling solo. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words; he’ll be so pleased to know he made your journey extra special. Making new friends and unforgettable memories is what traveling is all about, and we’re so glad to have been a part of that for you and your wife. We'd also like to highlight that just by booking your #tour2cchange tour with us, you're helping us support community projects through our non-profit, 2Cchange. A portion of your tour fees were used to help fund selected local charity projects. Here’s to many more adventures ahead! From Team Hotspots2C

7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands cost?

+

Prices start at $19910 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands take?

+

Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 168-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands?

+

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 7 Day Garden Route + Addo Safari with Cape Point & Cape Winelands start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
