Nairobi Tour
Great day with Dismus, out and about around Nairobi. Lots to see, including a trip up the KICC, which gave me a great idea of the scale and geography of the city. Dismus was good company for the day - knowledgeable, safety conscious and very friendly. 👍😊
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re happy you had a fantastic day discovering Nairobi with Dismus. We appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again.

Amazing tour - highly recommend
This was an amazing tour. My guide Kelvin was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He told me the history of Nairobi. We walked together through Nairobi CBD and Kelvin told lots of stories about the area. In Kibera slums I was guided by Kelvin and Kibera slums local guide Allan. Both the guides made me feel really safe in Kibera slums and told me a lot about the slums. Wonderful tour. Amazing guides. Both Kelvin and Allan were just fabulous.
Response from the operator: Dear Oleksa. We are happy to hear you had the best experience. We welcome you back for more experiences with us.

One Day in Nairobi
Similar to an earlier review we also had limited time in Nairobi so this tour provided the perfect opportunity to visit the best sites and tour the Kibera slum. We booked directly with the company and they couldn’t have been more helpful, arranging the hotel pickup to suit our arrival in Nairobi. The tour was well organised and the trip to Kibera and the August 7th Museum were very educational. All in all it was an excellent trip and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a full day site seeing trip in Nairobi.
Response from the operator: Thank you Jerusal for sharing about the tour. We are thrilled to understand that you had the best experience touring the city of Nairobi and the Kibera slums. We also thank you for choosing Nairobi and Beyond Safaris. We welcome you once more for more good experiences with our best packages.

Our Nairobi city & Kibera slum tour
We had limited time in Nairobi so this was the perfect day tour. Our tour guide was Dennis. He arrived early and stayed with us more than what was required. My only suggestion would be to the tour company to advise clients how much the extra admissions will cost at each stop so you can be prepared with the correct cash.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the great review! We're glad you enjoyed the tour and that Dennis made it special we'll be sure to pass on your kind words. Thanks also for the feedback on admission fees. We'll work on providing clearer info in advance to help future guests prepare. We appreciate you choosing us and hope to see you again.

Excellent & Educational Day in Nairobi
I cannot say enough good things about my day in Nairobi. Sam was my guide and he was so very helpful. He provided me with a great description of sites in the city and answered a ton of my questions. The visit to Kibera was something that everyone should experience and not something I will soon forget. Again, thanks to Sam for his amazing knowledge of Nairobi and Kenyan history, culture, religion and politics.
Response from the operator: Dear Michell. Thank you for letting us know how wonderful your tour of the city of Nairobi and Kibera slums was, we are happy to hear that you will not forget the experience. our guides are always ready to give the best services with alot of information, we welcome you back again for more tours and safaris.

6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums cost?
+
Prices start at $20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-hour Historic Nairobi city Tour and Kibera slums start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
