Perfect Day Exploring
I have been to cancun previously, and have done group tours. This time I wanted something more intimate, and I didn't want to be on anyone else schedule or timeline. This tour was perfect and catered to what we wanted to do. The driver offered options to dine, and activities for the family. We Iwould definitely book again!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! 😊 We're so glad you loved the flexibility and personalized service. We hope to see you again!

Private Honeymoon Excursions
My wife and I were in Riviera Maya and PDC for our honeymoon in February. We stayed at an all inclusive, and on our first day, we had an excursion to do ATV’s, zip lines and more. We had a tour group, and had to ride the tour bus. We’ve done this plenty of times on other vacations, and we’re not always fans of it, but this time was different. We said “for any other excursions, let’s just get a private driver and make our own.” We then found PDC Private Tours, who not only helped us plan out our day, but gave us an amazing price too! Our driver, George, picked us up the next morning and he was early but waited as we grabbed our last minute items. We set off for Akumal to see the turtles, but it was a bit early and we weren’t keen on getting in the water, so we decided to skip the turtles after how cold it was in the beach. George recommended a nearby Cenote, which was absolutely incredible. He even got us into the cenote before it opened to the public that day, which really made our private tour “private”. We then left for the Coba ruins, where George covered our entry fee for the tour of the ruins as we only had our card with us. He gave us a bit of change in case we needed it, and told us to message him once we were on our way out. We had a great time at the ruins, and we were sure to repay George’s kindness once we returned to the resort. Overall, I cannot recommend PDC Private Tours enough!!! George was a phenomenal driver, extremely kind human, and a truly knowledgeable guide who gave us an experience we will never forget! And best of luck to you George, in all of your future endeavors!
Response from the operator: We are very happy to hear you had such a memorable experience and enjoyed our personalized service! 😊 Thank you for your kind words, and we hope to welcome you back to the Riviera Maya soon!

Off the beaten path
We stayed at a resort in Playa Del Carmen and booked a private 6 hr van with George as our driver. He took us to a cave hike, followed by a cenote swim, and we wrapped it up with lunch at an amazing restaurant in Tullum. George was professional and safe. The day was a perfect mix of family time, adventure and local experiences. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re happy to hear you had such a great day.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Playa del Carmen.
How much does 6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Playa del Carmen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Playa del Carmen is not rushed.
Is 6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Playa del Carmen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Playa del Carmen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Playa del Carmen and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-Hour Bilingual Private Driver Service in the Riviera Maya start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Playa del Carmen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Playa del Carmen?
+
On Outty we rank every Playa del Carmen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include VIP Chichen Itza Private Tour, VIP Tulum Private Tour, Chichen Itza Private Tour VIP. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Playa del Carmen?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Playa del Carmen?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
