    Excellent and enjoyable

Nicolas has organised a very good safari for us and selected a very nice and good accomodation. He is very friendly and has a lot of patience. The game drives were very well organised and we really enjoyed. Next time we will definately book a safari at Africa Vision Safari Tours!

    Highly Recommended!

We did Safaris at Masai Mara, Sopa Lodge Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. We then spent a few days at Royal Zanzibar Resort in Tanzania to relax. Nicholas took care of everything. All we had to do was show up and he took care of the rest. He is a great man, incredible driver and stellar tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable of Kenya and all animals. We were pleased with all of our accommodations and highly recommend Nicholas and Africa Vision Safaris. We will gladly use him again.

    Helpful, Communicative, and Flexible

I arranged a 6 day safari for a group of 3 couples (myself included) through Nicholas, who was immensely helpful, communicative, and flexible throughout the planning process. He was able to make the most out of our group's mid-range budget and was very amenable to my suggestions to make the itinerary a bit more customized and unique for our group's tastes. Even after a tragic flood washed away the camp we were booked in, he had our backs covered, leading to upgraded accommodations at a nicer sister property at no additional cost (Saruni Basecamp). Our itinerary took us to Lake Nakuru, Loita Hills, and the Maasai Mara. During game drives, our guide John proved to be a very skilled driver and also showed great ethics, suggesting that we avoid the unreasonably large circles of vehicles that crowded some of the animals in the Maasai Mara Reserve (that's a topic for a different review). Overall, we had a fabulous time exploring Kenya's spectacular beauty and I would happily work with Africa Vision again to craft another memorable safari like this one.

    August safari

My best friend and I took this safari for his birthday and we had a lot of fun! Our guide was really skilled at finding cool animals: we managed to see small lion cubs, a lion feeding on a zebra and a couple of cheetahs. They were also very flexible and helpful with our extra requests. Would definitely recommend!

6 Days private safari package Kenya: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 6 Days private safari package Kenya cost?

    +

Prices start at $3,060 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 6 Days private safari package Kenya take?

    +

Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 6 Days private safari package Kenya worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 6 Days private safari package Kenya?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 6 Days private safari package Kenya suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 6 Days private safari package Kenya?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 6 Days private safari package Kenya start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Wild 5-Day Safari: Magical Mara, Nakuru Wonders & Hell's Gate, 2 Days Amboseli Safari using a 4x4 Landcruiser jeep(with options), Kibera Slum Tour with Lucas. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What happens to 6 Days private safari package Kenya if the weather is bad?

    +

It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Nairobi. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.

What do travelers say about 6 Days private safari package Kenya?

    +

Across 12 reviews averaging 5.0 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide, organization, knowledge and storytelling. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works.
