Way more than expected!!
The tour was excellently planned by Augustine of Camptrek Safaris, who also joined during part of the trip with great insights and guidance! The itinerary included Amboseli, Samburu and Masai Mara in that order, which was a perfect setup to experience the fantastic landscapes and wildlife of Kenya!! Game drives were orchestrated nicely and transfer between parks worked seamlessly!

Awesome Safari Trip!!!!
My trip to Kenya was made great because we used Camptrek Safaris for our Safari excusrsion. Three things remained constant on our trip: 1. They were always on time 2. They kept us engaged in all parts of our trip 3. They were always kind We were a group of 12 traveling with our 96 year old patriarch and they made everyone feel special as if the trip was just for them. The team was top notch and I absolutely had no complaints. If you are looking for a team that will put you first and make you feel special Camptrek Safaris is the team.

Wonderful 6 day safari through Amboseli, Nakuru and Masai Mara. Saw The Big 5 and so many more. Highly recommend!
Excellent in every way. And I don’t usually do reviews as sometimes there isn’t enough good things to say. Camptrek, were superb from the very beginning and early contact, right the way through. Margaret and John were attentive and helpful with all our queries and requests. Booking through the internet from the UK, even with some knowledge of Kenya can be a little concerning. However, they made us feel confident and always responded promptly and we received good advice. When it came to the safari, well! Our guide/driver Steven was superb, everything was on time and really ran like clockwork, even The Big Five appeared on cue! But we saw many more animals than just those. Too many to write here. All the lodges and hotels were very pleasant and comfortable. The vehicle also, comfortable and Steven kept it clean and tidy. Attention to detail from beginning to end (the little extras) was absolutely faultless - that’s what made a difference for us. A stunning trip in every way.

6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $4769 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6-Days of Elephants, Wildebeest and Big 5: Kenya’s Classic Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
