Masai Mara and Benson Ole Pere (driver)
A highly recommended safari (we are a family of five). I give a 10 out of 10 to all three parks and the safari itself. Special mention to Jemimah, who organized the safari, and to our tour guide, Bernardo. However, the star of the show was our 4x4 driver: Benson Ole Pere. Without Benson, the safari wouldn't have been the same. He allowed us to see the Big Five and the Ugly Five. And all with unparalleled professionalism and friendliness. Thank you.

UNFORGETTABLE STAY, AMAZING GUIDE
Unforgettable stay, the organization was good, and the communication was very easy. Our guide Boniface, who accompanied us until the last day, was great, very friendly, and even humorous :p Do not hesitate to book; it is an experience to have at least once in a lifetime. If you have the opportunity, you can request to sleep in the parks (with the agency's agreement depending on the location); it is a bit more expensive, but the experience is greatly enhanced. Do not hesitate and go for it!

An unforgettable safari adventure
We booked a 6-day Masai Mara, Nakuru, and Amboseli trip with Alpha Dean Tours and Travels, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the very beginning, our coordinator Jemimah was incredibly kind and supportive — she stayed in touch from the time of booking until the end of our trip, always ready to answer our questions and help whenever needed. A special thanks to our amazing guides Kulet and Bonney, who were both extremely knowledgeable about the safari routes and wildlife. They went above and beyond to make sure we spotted as many animals as possible. Kulet is truly one of the best guides in Masai Mara, and we were so happy to have him with us in the trip. The journey can be quite tiring due to long travel distances, and you should be prepared for dusty winds in Nakuru and Amboseli — but the experiences and memories make it absolutely worth it! Overall, it was one of the best trips of our lives. A big thank you to Alpha Dean Tours and Travels and Jemimah for making our safari smooth, comfortable, and so memorable. Highly recommended!

Great Value Safari – Perfect for Couples
We are a couple in our twenties and thirties and went on a safari with Alphadean Safaris—everything was great. Communication via WhatsApp was very good, pick-up was punctual, and the team was always flexible and helpful. Due to illness, we had to postpone the rest of our safari by one day after the second day, and Alphadean Safaris made this possible for us without any problems—we only had to cover the cost of the extra night. The price was in the affordable segment and overall, everything was excellent. Highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! 🌿 We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your safari experience with us and that our team was able to accommodate your schedule smoothly. Flexibility and guest comfort are always our top priorities, and it’s great to know that communication and service met your expectations. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon — perhaps to explore more of Kenya or Tanzania next time!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does 6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $636 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is 6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6 Days Maasai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli Group Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
