HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE: Serious accident, neglect and cover-up. DO NOT BOOK.

Score: ‐ (1/5) If you value your life and safety, do not book with Kenya Safari Bookings. What was supposed to be a dream trip turned into a nightmare due to extreme negligence and a shocking lack of humanity on the part of management. The Accident: Our driver, Joseph, was driving recklessly. Despite our repeated pleas to slow down because we felt unsafe, he ignored us. This led to a serious car accident. The vehicle itself was in unsafe condition, with rusted metals exposed inside and with the wheels not checked or fastened. The injuries: The four of us ended up in the hospital with serious injuries: a dislocated shoulder that requires surgery, a broken rib at risk of tetanus from the rusty metal in the car, a concussion and a fractured finger, along with all the emotional shock from everything we have experienced. The Cover-up (Worst of all): Instead of prioritizing our lives, the company’s immediate reaction was to protect itself. Immediately after the crash, we witnessed the license plates being removed from the vehicle and hidden inside the car so that they could not be easily reported. Attached photo so you can see how the license plate is covered with a jacket so we can not report. They wouldn't let us go to the police. The driver went alone to the police and filed an official report stating that we suffered only 'slight injuries', completely minimizing our broken bones and the need for surgery. Incredibly, the company kept our physical X-rays and original medical reports and refused to hand them over to us. We had to fly back to Spain needing urgent surgeries without our physical records because the management held them back. 4. LAST UPDATE: They sent us a photo of the fraudulent police report on WhatsApp, but when they realized we had noticed the lies, they DELETED THE MESSAGE to try to eliminate the evidence. Fortunately, we had already saved the photo. His attempt to manipulate the truth continues even now. I attach the conversation and the false police report. Incredibly, the company kept our original physical X-rays and medical reports and refused to give them to us, and after two weeks, we still didn’t have the original X-rays and medical reports. We had to fly back to Spain needing urgent surgeries without our physical records because the management held them back. Address: They abandoned us in a hotel with zero support, zero compensation and not a single apology from the management. When we tried to reach an amicable resolution, they ignored us. Worse, management is now trying to blame the accident on the few good employees they have, to avoid taking responsibility for their unsafe vehicles and reckless driver. The ONLY exception: I must make it absolutely clear that our guides, Allan and Peter, were the ONLY decent people in this company. They treated us with incredible humanity, stood by us and did everything they could to help us. They're exceptional professionals, and it's embarrassing how management is treating them. Do your own research. A company that hides license plates and withholds medical reports of injured tourists should not be operating. Avoid them at all costs.

    exciting,refreshing,comfortable.

Good choice of accommodations, good arrangement of transportation, good guide Mr.Jeff, he is very kind and patient, and he tries his best to enable us to see the animals with his excellent driving skills in the field and uses his professional instinct to control his driving speed when he senses something worth to see, it was a wonderful trip and we got to see almost all of the animals in Massai Mara.

Response from the operator: Thank You for the Best review, We will pass your regards to Jeff our Driver and Guide. feel much welcomed for more safaris. Bring friends and family along. Welcome!

6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $965 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari take?

    +

Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 144-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 6 Days Kenya Budget Group Safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
