At Stella Point, you will stop for a short rest and will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise you are ever likely to see. Faster hikers may view the sunrise from the summit. From Stella Point, you may encounter snow all the way on your 1-hour ascent to the summit. Once at Uhuru Peak, you have reached the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the continent of Africa! From the summit we begin our descent by continuing straight down to the Mweka Camp, stopping at Barafu for lunch. You may want gaiters and trekking poles for the loose gravel going down. Lemosho route with kwesa

We had a great time with kwesa in the mountains. The guides Haji and bryson have tonnes of experiences. Our cook also prepared us delicious meals everyday. Kwesa is always flexible and always try to accommodate our requests.

    An amazing experience

This was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The guides were fantastic and we were looked after so well. From minute one, we felt in good hands. This is not just practicality, it’s about mental strength to reach the peak and you can’t underestimate how much of that is provided by the guides. This is an excellent option if you really want to get the best out of yourself. Just to note, tipping is not cheap but is expected, and it’s emphasised a lot. This is quite normal for these experiences, but it’s not make clear until you arrive, which is should be for sure. A daily rate for each guide and porter is expected. Overall a wonderful experience!

    Amazing Kilimanjaro Plus Safari

We did Kilimanjaro with Edward the director KWESA via the Lemosho route followed by 2 days of safari in Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire NP and I have to give 10/10 for perfect organization and execution. The trek was tough but we had an experienced crew who guided and kept us safe. They accommodated our speed and physical ability to what we could attain within comfort. We managed to do the trek in 7 days allowing for 2 days which we went on safari. I have to commend Edward for the premium class service and not cutting any corners to save a buck, It was all excellent!

    Excellent Trek

The trek was awesome, and this can be attributed to the perfect planning by Edward the director KWESA, matching of an excellent crew of 2 guides, six porters and cook Fred who were all awesome and went above and beyond to keep us safe and comfortable. We also have very good quality of equipment which kept us dry, warm and in the best conditions. The views are amazing particularly after the Baranco wall when you can see the summit and as the weather was great. The food was exceptionally nice as Fred made really good meals. I loved everything about the trek and will give KWESA 100% for excellence.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
