Amazing experience, true adventure, great people!

Amazing experience. The crew was very reliable and professional. We had delicious fresh food, met many great people and we would describe it overall as one of our best adventures so far. One advise to the tourists: if you plan longer time (more days for the climb) and the guides offer you to climb faster, just decline. Otherwise, you risk not making it to the summit, because success rate increases with each hour you spend on higher altitude. That was our case, but we didn’t make any compromise with the length of the acclimatization that we had initially planned. Advise 2: plan your tips before your trip. Ask the company you’ll use, but also read about it on the internet. It’s not a small amount and can become heavy on the budget, if not planned in advance.

Response from the operator: Dear Elena, Thank you so much for your time taken and give us feedback. We are delighted to take into account all the recommendation you have shared with us. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused during your Kilimanjaro climb with us. Sincerely, Issa

6 Days Kilimanjaro climb - Marangu route

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. There were 6 of us and 27 people between guides, cooks and porters looking after us. When I fell behind, I was never alone. Unfortunately, I suffered from altitude sickness and had to turn back halfway through the summit on summit night but unlike other companies, I had two people looking after me the whole time, giving me water, food, reassurance and holding me up when I could walk no more. The porters are simply amazing. They went far and beyond their job description to make us feel comfortable, safe, and welcome at any time. The food was definitely a highlight and the bunny-shaped hot-water bottle at night was a very nice touch. I intend to try and summit Kilimanjaro again since I didn't make it to the top and when I do I will certainly use Destiny Explorers. Don't look elsewhere, choose Destiny Explorers!

Response from the operator: Providing exceptional service and delivering high-quality products have earned our clients a loyal and happy customer base. We are proud of ourselves for making this a habit in our company work ethics. Much appreciated for your trust, Issa
