About this experience
Our 6-day Young Adventurer's Program in Washington’s Olympic National Park is designed for participants ages 11-13 who are either new or experienced backpackers. (Youth will be grouped with like ages.) This adventure summer camp in Olympic National Park focuses on leadership and outdoor skill-building with teens camping and hiking beside high alpine lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and meadows. Most trips have an opportunity to summit peaks and/or partake in some spectacular sunsets among some breath-taking geological formations. Risk-taking and challenges complimented by fun and support from others lead to a positive and often life-changing adventure for all! Voted as one of the "Best Backpacking Programs for Youth out West," (by Outside Magazine) our Olympic Program was new in 2020 after expanding from Yosemite where we are the #1 guide service and summer camp. 2025 Dates: 6/22-6/27 6/29-7/4 7/6-7/11 7/13-7/18 7/20-7/25 7/27-8/1 8/3-8/8 8/10-8/15 8/17-8/22 8/24-8/29

How much does 6-Day Young Adventurers Summer Camp in Olympic National Park cost?

How long does 6-Day Young Adventurers Summer Camp in Olympic National Park take?

Is 6-Day Young Adventurers Summer Camp in Olympic National Park worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (0/5 across 0 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Port Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6-Day Young Adventurers Summer Camp in Olympic National Park?
+

Is 6-Day Young Adventurers Summer Camp in Olympic National Park suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book 6-Day Young Adventurers Summer Camp in Olympic National Park?
+
Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Port Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Port Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Port Angeles by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Port Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Olympic National Park from Seattle: All-Inclusive Small-Group Day Tour, Hoh Rain Forest and Rialto Beach Guided Tour in Olympic National Park, Sol Duc, Lake Crescent, and Hurricane Ridge Guided Tour in Olympic National Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Port Angeles?
+
Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Port Angeles, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Port Angeles?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
