    Excellent Ecaudor tour

Having read the reviews, we trusted our entire 12 day Ecuador and Galapagos holiday (and quite a lot of money!) to Wanderbus and we could not have been happier. Our guide, José, was very knowledgable, flexible and helpful. Paul, the driver, kept us safe and was also happy to help; thanks to both of them. We worked on the itinerary with Monica who was really helpful in suggesting options and places to stay. We were lucky with the weather but to be honest we’d have loved it all regardless. The Galapagos trip was incredible and we are already hoping to return in a couple of years. The land-based tour suited us well as Santa Cruz has some really good restaurants serving fresh fish, and we liked chilling in the town. The day trips on the boats were fun and never felt too long; although we really want to go back and stay a few days on Isabella next time. Would totally recommend this company, everything was smooth with no hiccups or surprises.

A great experience in a short amount of time

We booked a private tour with WanderBus and got Erick as a guide! (From Quito to Cuenca, 6 days) A tour like this is perfect if you want to discover a lot of different places in a short amount of time, all with a feeling of being 100% safe. Erick is quite young for a guide, however, he already knows a lot and it is very confortable to travel with him and above all he explains all very clearly! Nevertheless, before booking a tour with WanderBus, you should check with the agency whether all activities can really be done, as some of them are not available on certain days. WanderBus did not let us know in advance, and therefore we lost some activities (market, Museum...) because of that. WanderBus or the guide should tell the clients in advance so that they know what they are paying for!! All in all it was a great experience! :) If you don't have much time, I definitely recommend WanderBus and also Erick as guide!

Response from the operator: W3979HPcamilal! Thank you for your review! We're thrilled to hear that you had a fantastic trip We're delighted to know that Erick provided you with valuable knowledge and made the day enjoyable for you. It's always a pleasure when our guides can share insights and enhance the overall experience. Thank you for choosing our services

    Could not have been better!

I cannot recommend this experience enough. We were accompanied but an excellent driver and guide. While this company bills itself primarily as a private transport service, it's really more of a multi-day guided tour of some of the national parks and geologic features of the Ecuadorian Andes. The company also has a mission to both expose tourists to the indigenous culture of Ecuador and to improve the lives those living in indigenous villages, so we also had a lot of one-on-one encounters with people in places we would never have seen had it not been for Wanderbus. This is a fantastic company, both in concept and execution.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a positive experience with our company. It's great to know that our driver guide provided excellent service throughout your journey. We take pride in offering more than just a trip, but rather a multi-day guided tour that showcases the stunning national parks and geological features of the Ecuadorian Andes. We're glad that our mission to expose tourists to the indigenous culture of Ecuador and support the local communities resonated with you. It's heartwarming to hear that you had meaningful interactions with people in indigenous villages, creating unique and unforgettable experiences. We truly appreciate your kind words about our service's concept and execution. Thank you for choosing us and recommending us. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future for more incredible adventures with Wanderbus!

    Fantastic Ecuador Adventure

We enjoyed the convenience of having a private guide, which made it possible to see a wide range of geological features from Andes, to paramos, cascades, and rainforest. Our favorite city was Cuenca, however Banos had more variety and accessibility to hikes and wildlife which puts it as first choice. It was helpful to bring multiple light layers of clothing to add or subtract as each day could bring wide ranges of weather. Our guide Paul Bravo was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, flexible and treated us like family. A joy to spend five days with.

Response from the operator: We're delighted to hear that you had a wonderful experience exploring the diverse geological features of the Andes. It's fantastic to know that you enjoyed the convenience of having a knowledgeable guide who made it possible to see such a wide range of natural wonders. It sounds like you had a great balance between urban exploration and outdoor adventures. We're thrilled that your guide, Paul Bravo, provided exceptional service and made you feel like family throughout your journey. Having a knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible guide can truly enhance the overall experience. Thank you for sharing your positive feedback and for recommending our services. We're grateful for the opportunity to have been part of your memorable adventure. Should you decide to visit the country again, we would be delighted to welcome you back for more amazing experiences.
