Know before you go
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Optional Briefing: The day before your tour, one of the trip leaders will meet you at the meeting point hotel lobby (to be advised in your voucher of services) for a welcome briefing at around 6:00 PM. At this time, details and questions you may have regarding the adventure will be discussed.
- Driving time can take more than expected in Ecuador, as it is a small country with roads meandering through the Andes mountains. We assure your comfort during transit no matter the size of the group.
- Level of Activity: This trip is considered as 3 out of 5. No prior experience is required and your guides will always brief you about safety and proper use of gear on every leg of the trip. There will be a transport support for the majority of the activities in the case that someone wants to take a break or just wants to relax.
- We do recommend traveling light for this expedition. A duffel bag of 50 litters for your luggage and a backpack of 20 litters for daily activities should be enough. In Ecuador, the weather can change drastically especially when you are moving from the Andes to the Amazon.
- Guides: All our guides have a professional background from the Tourism University; this means they have a degree in guiding, so their knowledge and skills when leading a group are top-notch.
- Inform yourself about food safety when traveling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precaution to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat ‘street food’, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
- It is important to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
- The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notice due to weather conditions, availabilities, National Park regulations or notifications and unforeseeable circumstances.
- Please bring your own rain poncho. In the Amazon, the weather could change suddenly in the rainforest and you might get wet.
- Please take with you some plastic bags, to protect your Camera and important documents from the rain in the Amazon. Also, a headlight, since it can get very dark during the night.
- Accommodation is based on number of travelers, if you are traveling with a group, you will be sharing rooms (single rooms require an extra fee).

Best of active Ecuador with local expertise.
Amazing experience with guide Alirio. He was so relatable and friendly and had relationships with all the people at the places we went. This was a great trip and the perfect level of adventure for our family of 4 (60,55,19,18). We did the private group option and were able to customize our trip. So many highlights and great photos. We love how the company supports family owned businesses and local guides. Would book again in a heartbeat. Ecuador is an enchanting place. The boys loved it all, especially the canyoneering. The hiking was great, Arajuno River glamping was amazing, local food was excellent and biking views were spectacular. If you are looking for an authentic experience with adventure and comfortable (not luxury) level of stay like we were, this is for you. Far exceeded expectations which were already high. Thank you.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! 🌟 We’re thrilled to hear that your family enjoyed the adventure, from canyoneering and hiking to glamping and biking, and that Alirio made the experience so memorable. Supporting local guides and family-run businesses is at the heart of what we do, and it’s amazing to know it enhanced your trip. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Fantastic, fun and fascinating trip
We had a terrific time and saw so many interesting, beautiful and amazing things. Rebecca Adventure Travel planned everything well, and communicated very effectively. Our tour guide, Daniel, was extremely knowledgable about culture, history, plants, animals and more. He took great care of us. The Cotapaxi lagoon hike was peaceful and pretty. The ride to Quilatoa crater lake and exploring Llanganates park were fascinating - Ecuadorian agriculture is quite impressive, and the people are so resourceful. The basic Amazon Lodge and canyoning were a highlight of the trip - super fun. Our tour was private, so made an extra stop at the Thursday morning Saquasili market, which was a fantastic way to see the fruits, vegetables, fish, meat and other foods of Equador, and to mix with the local people. We also added the Guango lodge onto our tour, where we saw about 10 species of hummingbirds, and a torrent duck - a very impressive swimmer in the current and rapids! There were lots of gorgeous things to look at around Banos, such as the Pailon del Diablo waterfall. The Banos zoo was really terrific - it's not only got very active, interactive animals, but the views from the zoo are great. It was also fun to walk around in Banos in the evenings.

6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quito.
How much does 6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package cost?
+
Prices start at $2090 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quito usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package take?
+
Plan for about 144 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quito is not rushed.
Is 6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Quito, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 144-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quito can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quito and add a light layer if any part of the 144-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 6 Day Ecuador Multisport Package start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quito within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quito?
+
On Outty we rank every Quito experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cotopaxi tour from Quito -horseback ride and hike-NO TOURISTY way, Baños Full Day Tour from Quito Including Entrances and Activities, Gastronomic and Cultural Walking Tour of Quito with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quito?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quito?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
