Wonderful time
We had a 5 day private tour of the Aegean coast with Mesut as our guide and Savas as our driver. It was a wonderful time, far beyond our expectations. We have visited Troy, Assos, Pergamon, Ephesus, Priene, Miletos, Didym, Aphrodisias, Hierapolis. Mesut had our trip planned efficiently and with good balance, so we had plenty of time to relax in Kusadasi between the ruin visits. Also his knowledge and storytelling skill was amazing so that both history enthusiast like my self and my wife, who is not a history lover enjoyed and learned much about the region and every site. The food choices were perfect, every tea time after meal was lovely. We also had chance to familiarize ourselves with backgammon. Thanks to Savas we felt very safe on the road, also very efficient. So, this was by far the best private tour experience we had. Thank you Mesut and Savas, hope we will meet again soon.

Excellent FIVE day tour choice
Ertunga was amazing tour guide from day one to our drop off. He was quick to respond to pretravel questions. It was a delight and the parting of good friends. A few bonus details we appreciated were excellent lunch stops along the way, in which he spared no expense. When it came to afternoon coffee stops he happily abliged to finding us the perfect stop, most obviously and important was his acute understanding of the seven churches in Revelations from Revelation 1-3. Ertunga's intersting story telling as we strolled though the historical sites was excellent. Lastly both his perfect english and handling of the New Testament scriptures definitely made this historical tour come alive.

Absolutely Amazing Turkey Trip...
From London, we booked this private tour with Ertunga who was also our tour guide through out the 7 days we spent in different parts of Turkey. From Istanbul to Cappadocia to Kusadasi. We stayed in Istanbul for 2 nights & Kusadasi for 4 nights from where we visited the 7 Biblical churches. All the way through this trip Ertunga has been very very helpful & accommodative. His local & history knowledge to explain the sites is very good. Especially during the CV-19 situation , Ertunga took care of hand sanitizers, masks & other health & safety aspects very professionally. Food - we went to many different restaurants with amazing variety of food. Hotels & Transport was very very comfortable. Anyone visiting Turkey , I highly recommend Ertunga to get the feel of traditional & historical side of Turkey.

How far in advance should I book 5 days Private Tour of Western Turkey (Troy-Pergamon-Ephesus-Didyma-Pamukkale)?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Istanbul can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Istanbul and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Istanbul?
+
On Outty we rank every Istanbul experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Istanbul 1, 2 or 3-Day Private Guided Istanbul Tour, Istanbul Luxury Bosphorus Yacht Cruise with Asian Side Stop, ISTANBUL BEST: Iconic Landmarks Full Day PRIVATE Guided City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Istanbul?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Istanbul?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
