Wonderful 5-Day Kenya Safari

This 5 day tour of Dallago Tours was really great. I have seen Lion Pride and many other animals in Masai Mara, I will not forget the moments of seeing flamingos and black rhinos in Nakuru. The environment of Sweetwaters is very peaceful and beautiful, many wildlife have also been seen there. Being a private tour, there was no rush, the guide was very knowledgeable and everything was beautifully organized. Accommodation, food and transport were all excellent. I went to Kenya for the first time, but never had such an experience. I will recommend it to those who want to do it.

Unforgettable Safari Adventure!!

We went on a 5 day trip with our family. I was fascinated by the vast savannahs of the Maasai Mara, the abundant wildlife (especially lions and elephants), the thousands of flamingos of Lake Nakuru, and the extraordinary leopards and rhinos of the Sweetwaters. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Accommodation and car was very comfortable. The food was delicious too... I learned a lot about the nature and wildlife of Kenya through this tour. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go on a safari in Africa, it is the perfect package.

Response from the operator: Dear Kamil, thank you for sharing your remarkable experience! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the journey, wildlife, and service provided. Your kind words mean a lot, and we’re glad the safari left such unforgettable memories.

5 Days of Nature Adventure – Best Safari Experience in Kenya

We made a very good decision with this 5-day package. I stayed at Masai Mara for two days and was fortunate to see the big cats there. One morning two lions were hunting a zebra. Lake Nakuru's flamingos and black-and-white rhinos are a sight to behold. The highlight was a chimpanzee viewing and night game drive at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Sweetwaters. The campsites were very comfortable and safe. The guide Wilson was amazing — he explained every animal in detail and was always there to help with a smile. The food was also very good. We got good value for money.

Thank you Dallago Tours!

Our kids (9 and 12 years old) were very excited to go on this 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters Safari! Every day in the game drive in Maasai Mara saw numerous animals - lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes everything. I made a hot air balloon (extra cost), it was magical! When the children saw the flamingos in Lake Nakuru, they cried out - the whole lake is pink! Baboon and Rhino have also been seen. Seeing the chimpanzee sanctuary and rhinoceros in the sweetwaters, everyone became very emotional. The guide made a very safe drive, everything was on time, the food was adjusted according to our diet. Bedrooms and bathrooms have great views. Everything was perfectly organized from the pickup to the end from Nairobi. This tour should be taken on a first time safari - a variety of experiences are available.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your family’s incredible safari experience! 🦒🎈 We’re absolutely delighted that your 5-day adventure through Mara, Nakuru, and Sweetwaters was such a hit with your kids (and you too!). It’s wonderful to hear how excited they were spotting lions, elephants, zebras, and giraffes in the Mara—and we can only imagine the joy (and the happy cries!) when they saw Lake Nakuru turn pink with flamingos. That’s a memory that will last a lifetime. The hot air balloon ride really is magical—thank you for mentioning it, and we’re so glad you took that extra step. And knowing that the chimpanzee sanctuary and rhinos in Sweetwaters touched your whole family’s hearts means so much to us. We’re also very happy that our guide made you feel safe, kept everything on time, and that the food could be adjusted to your dietary needs. It’s the little things that make a big difference, especially when traveling with children. Thank you for recommending us as a first-time safari choice—what a compliment! From the very first pickup in Nairobi to the final drop-off, we’re thrilled that everything felt perfectly organized. We’d love to welcome your family back for another adventure someday. Until then, warmest regards from all of us at Dallago Tours! 🌍🐘

Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Sweetwaters – a perfect combination of 3 places

The 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters Safari with Dallago Tours was truly amazing. On the first day at Maasai Mara, we saw Lion Pride and many Zebras and Giraffes. The guide was tracking very well, so every moment was exciting. Arriving at Lake Nakuru on the second day, thousands of flamingos are standing on the water together - the sight really can't be explained without the eyes. We also got to see the Black Rhino, which is the most special moment of the trip for me. On reaching Sweetwaters we visited both Rhino Sanctuary and Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The environment is very peaceful and there is a lot of wildlife to see. Dallago Tours organized the whole trip very nicely - the lodge, the food, the car - everything was better than expected. This 5 day trip will be a memory of a lifetime.

5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.

How much does 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters cost?

+

Prices start at $2640 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters take?

+

Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.

Is 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 5 Days Mara, Nakuru, Sweetwaters start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Nairobi?

+

On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Nairobi?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Nairobi?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
