8 days Wonderful Safari Journey with Guide Henry in Kenya
Our family had a very comfortable and unforgettable journey starting from Amboseli to Navacha lake then Nakuru Lake and finally Masai Mara in Kenya for 8 days with Guide Henry. He was always on time, polite, helpful, patient and knowledgeable etc. We spent our time in all the nice hotels recommended by the Savannah Travel agency, the hotel are nice and tidy and close to all the natural surroundings and not so crowded and the fees we spent are surely worthy. We thanks again for Guide Henry for all his efforts and support to make our journey comfortable and surely he is trustable for future travels in Kenya.

Savannah Woods safari has been the company we have chosen both visits to Kenya, this summer and 3 years ago. Alex was our guide both times. We have had the best experience with them. They are professional and saw to our every need when planning these amazing trips. It can be hard to know who to trust, but this company took personal care of us and we trust them completely! Highly recommend. Can't wait to come back again and I would never use another company or guide. Alex is a treasure. He made everything so much fun!

Best Safari!
Our first safari and visit to Kenya/Africa was an amazing and unforgettable experience. We contacted several safari companies and chose Savannah Woods Safari because we felt we could rely on Lucy, who very kindly responded to all of our questions and requests with great care and professionalism. Lucy and Josphat gave us safari souvenirs the day before our trip began, which already made the trip special. Henry, our safari guide, made the experience truly exceptional. He constantly communicated with other guides and helped us find the animals we most wanted to see. Thanks to him, we were able to witness incredible wildlife, including lions—a family feeding on a buffalo and a mating couple—leopards emerging from the bush and walking toward us, as well as cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, and beautiful sunrise and sunset. The bush lunch under Henry’s favorite tree was one of the highlights of our trip! We had a 5-day safari, starting from Maasai Mara and continuing to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. Lucy arranged everything and it became our lifetime experience! Day 1: Departure from Nairobi, arrival in Maasai Mara, and an evening game drive (Accommodation: Sarova Mara Game Camp) Day 2: Hot air balloon safari and a full-day game drive (Sarova Mara Game Camp) Day 3: A full-day game drive (Sarova Mara Game Camp) Day 4: Departure from Maasai Mara, Maasai village visit, and a game drive in Lake Nakuru (Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge) Day 5: Boat safari and walking safari at Lake Naivasha, and dropoff at the airport

Great experience. Ask for Mr Henry!
Went on this safari trip planned by Savannah Woods Safari and it was amazing! It was extremely well planned from the beginning till the end. Lucy had been our point of contact and she understood what we were looking for and gave all the options for us to choose from accordingly. Our guide was Mr Henry who was very knowledgeable and answered all our million questions patiently. He was so adjusting to all our requests, especially when I asked for stopping for shopping on the highway. Most importantly, he helped us see the big 5 and many other incredible animals and birds. I highly recommend him!

A dream safari!
Our safari adventure began when we contacted Savannah Woods Safari and from the very first message we knew we were in good hands. Lucy was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. She was incredibly responsive, patient, and helpful, answering all our questions and making sure every detail was taken care of. What impressed us most was that her support didn't stop once the trip started! She continued checking in and helping whenever needed, which gave us great peace of mind. We chose a 6 days safari trip, covering Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken. A huge part of that experience was thanks to our guide, Papa John. He is truly exceptional. His knowledge of the parks, wildlife and animal behaviour was remarkable, and his ability to spot animals was nothing short of incredible. Thanks to his expertise, we managed to see all of the Big Five, including a leopard, which many visitors never get to see. He always seemed to know exactly where to be and when, giving us amazing wildlife sightings and fantastic photo opportunities. Beyond that, he was friendly, professional, passionate about his work, and made every game drive enjoyable and exciting. The Sopa Lodges were also excellent. The accommodations were comfortable, the food was delicious and varied, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. We would highly recommend this itinerary, Savannah Woods Safari and especially Papa John as a guide. If you're lucky enough to have him leading your safari, make sure you clear plenty of space on your phone or camera, you'll come home with hundreds of incredible photos and unforgettable memories!
