Great guides and incredible landscapes
The tour was very well-planned and the hand-off between guides and operators in the different regions was seamless. You could piece this itinerary together yourself for less money but Fly Cusco offers a set it and forget it experience where all you have to do is show up at the arrivals gate with a smile. We are a family of four with a teen and young adult. All of the hotel accommodations were great; either two rooms or a room with a double and two single beds. Every guide we had was friendly, knowledgeable and local to the region. Highlights in addition to Machu Picchu were a demonstration at a weaving village and the scenery along the drive to Rainbow Mountain. The early AM departure times for Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain were worth it; not only did we avoid overly large crowds, but avoided cloud cover and rain/hail that came as we were leaving. A great experience in every way. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this wonderful review and recommendation! We’re delighted to hear that your family had such a great experience. Treating our travelers like family and making everything seamless from start to finish is exactly what we strive for. We’re so glad you enjoyed the guides, accommodations, and special moments along the way. We hope to welcome your family back again one day!

Great experience, highly recommend
A great experience end-to-end. Shout out to Hector, who debriefed me at the 1st hotel, Martin the driver and Victor the guide. Also the guide at Machupicchu whom took too many pictures of our group haha and the last guide for the rainbow mountain. I personally find that the rainbow mountain trip on the road for 5 hours? was far too much time vs the time spent of 2 hours? at the site, i prolly stayed max 30 min at the mountain top only but i guess this is the journey to visit the mountain. The hotels were really good too. Good to know that the operator is more responsive on Whatsapp than emails. Overall, i really enjoyed it and I guess it also helped to have met the family of David, Belinda and Caleb in the same group tour!

Must book! Amazing experience
This really made our trip to Peru worthwhile. We were able to cover all the sites we wanted to see while we were here. The entire experience was so seamless, Rayza from Flycusco was in touch very much in advance to book all the necessary logistics. We were taken care of from point to point across the entire duration of our trip and didn’t have to worry or plan anything. The tours themselves were so informative and enjoyable, Nilton (Pisaq and Ollyatambo) and Martin (Machu Picchu) were amazing guides, providing such insightful information and assisting us to take such amazing pictures. Overall I highly recommend booking this for a worry-free and highly enjoyable experience!!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does 5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain cost?
+
Prices start at $380 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is 5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 22 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 5-Day Tour: Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
