Grandson's Delight
This was an experience with my 10 year-old grandson. It was his first river trip, so we picked the Family Trip which was mainly the mild Class II rapids. Our guide, Kyle, was wonderful with kids. He had our grandson pick the entry to the various fast water spots. By the time we hit the one Class 3 rapid on the trip my grandson was fully excited and ready for future white water experiences.

Great trip, Ashley was a perfect guide
Our rafting trip with Denali Raft Adventures was one of the highlights of our Alaska vacation! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Ashley. Ashley was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made everyone in our group feel comfortable from the very beginning. She shared interesting facts about the area, kept the trip fun with her great personality, and made safety a top priority without taking away from the adventure. You can tell Ashley genuinely loves what she does, and her enthusiasm made the entire experience even better. If you’re visiting the Denali area, do yourself a favor and book a trip with Denali Raft Adventures. If you have the opportunity to request Ashley as your guide, don’t hesitate—you’ll be glad you did! Thank you, Ashley, for giving us memories we’ll never forget!

An outstanding experience for our whole family group!
Our group of 7 ranged in age from 9 to 77. Every one of us had a wonderful time with just enough bumps, ripples, white water, and rapids to make us all want to do a more challenging trip next time. Our morning guide was Shawn. Not only was he a skilled guide, he was also very personable and funny. He very quickly realized that our 10 year old grandson wanted as many splashes and bumps as possible, so he steered the raft in a way that made that happen. In the afternoon, our guide was Ashlee. She shared lots of interesting info about the rock formations around us and also made sure that we hit all of the rapids and swirls that were around us. Our 9 year old granddaughter started the trip with a lot of anxiety. By the end of the trip, she'd moved up to the front of the raft with her cousin and laughed her way through the white water! She said this was her favorite outing on our trip! In short, Shawn & Ashlee were both absolutely fabulous guides! The included lunch was filling and tasty, too. That was just an unexpected bonus. I can't recommend this adventure and this company more!

Great relaxing time!
Owen our guide was great! Very interactive and informative. We had a great trip down the river. They allowed us to change our reservation to a more convenient time in our schedule. If the bus driver tries to talk you in to walking to the boardwalk take the ride.
