    Wonderful views of the Canyonlands!

This was a great private tour of the canyonlands. Our guide was very flexible in what we wanted to see or do plus he provided great ideas for us. We took nice hikes that were not too strenuous to see awesome views of the canyonlands. We were able to get some fantastic pictures too for lasting memories! Highly recommend this tour!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much!

Making memories in CanyonLand with a perfect guide.

This is the way to go, private guide and getting to see so much in this enormous park. Ian is a gem, had so much information about the park, took us to many of the prime spots. Made sure we could handle the hikes. Very easy to talk to Ian and being a Jersey guy was extra special.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much Reid! It was a pleasure getting to explore the park with you

    Unexpected experience

When we booked this trip we thought it was a typical private tour, small van with a small group of people. We were wrong. It is truly a private tour. Ian is a young man that has started his own tour business. He picks you up in a very comfortable car (max 6 people) and takes you on a very personal trip. He is very knowledgeable about the geology and history of the Canyonlands. The day we went it was raining so we drove to various view points and braved the wind and rain. About half way into the trip the weather broke and we went back to the various view points to actually see the Canyonlands. We did one hike. I would highly recommend Ian as he can change the trip based on his clients needs. I would love to go back and due some of the hikes. Even with the weather we had a fantastic time.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the kind words Richard! I'm glad you enjoyed the experience. Would love to have you back again.

4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does 4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is 4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Hour Private Canyonlands National Park Adventure start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
