An Unforgettable Journey Through Morocco

Our 4-day journey from Ait Benhaddou to Fes through the desert was honestly one of the most unforgettable parts of our trip to Morocco. The landscapes were incredible and constantly changing — mountains, valleys, palm groves, kasbahs, tiny villages, and finally the magical Sahara desert. Every day felt completely different from the last, and the road itself became part of the adventure. The desert experience was absolutely amazing and something we will never forget. Watching the sunset over the dunes, the silence of the Sahara, the stars at night… it all felt surreal and magical. One of the hotels we stayed in was Babylon Dades and had such a wonderful experience there. The food was delicious, one of our favorite meals during the trip, and everyone made us feel very welcome and comfortable. What made the entire journey even more special was our driver, Ali. He was always smiling, kind, patient, and genuinely happy to share his country with us. Throughout the trip, he taught us so much about Moroccan culture, Berber traditions, local life, food, music, and history. You could truly feel his pride and love for Morocco in every conversation By the end of the trip, we realized we hadn’t just visited Morocco — we had connected with it. We completely fell in love with the country, its people, and its culture, and a big part of that was thanks to Ali and this beautiful journey. Thank you for such a meaningful and unforgettable experience. We will remember it forever.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this beautiful and heartfelt review. We are truly happy to know that your 4-day journey from Ait Benhaddou to Fes became such a meaningful part of your trip to Morocco. It is wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the landscapes, the Sahara Desert, the hotels, and especially your stay at Babylon Dades. We are also very proud of Ali and will be sure to share your kind words with him. For us, the most important thing is not only to show places, but also to share our culture, traditions, and the real spirit of Morocco. Knowing that you felt connected to the country means a lot to us. Thank you again for your trust. We hope to welcome you back one day for another unforgettable journey. Warm regards, Brahim Marrakech Camel Trips

You are free like bird in sky

What an incredible way to see Morocco! We were a small group - three single ladies (well 2 ladies and 1 nonbinary, but afab so I went as a "lady"). This experience was so wonderful, I'm trying to talk my adventurous but stopped adventuring 70-something grandma to take this tour with me. Ali was super communicative the day before the tour, confirming our pick up spot. He picked us up promptly at 8am on the morning of, and was an awesome driver. He kept telling us "you are free like bird in sky", which became our motto (along with "yalla yalla!"). He answered our questions when we had them, played good music, and was all around fun to be with. I joked when the tour finished that I needed him to continue picking our meals, cause it was so nice not having to think about it. Ali was also friendly with the locals (especially the Berber nomads) and it was really fun to watch him be in his element (he himself is from the desert) when we went 4x4 in the dunes. He also knew where all the good coffee was - we drank so much coffee. And 90% was with an incredible view. The tour itself was a great length and covered a good portion of Morocco. We saw mountains, forests, gorges, canyons, rivers, deserts, and of course the Sahara. Ali knew all the spots to stop where we'd get a great experience. And warned us when it would be *extreme* (the men selling peanuts for the monkeys were the worst). Other than the camel ride/night in the desert camp, my favorite part was the fossils. A note - bring cash. Dahrim or Euros, it doesnt matter. But very few places in the smaller cities accepted card. As someone who was nervous going to a Muslim country (I'm trans), it was very important to me to have a safe guide. I wanted to experience a beautiful country and culture without having to worry about being afraid. Morocco was incredibly hospitable, friendly, warm, and all around wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing and heartfelt message We are truly happy to hear that you had such an incredible experience discovering Morocco with us. It means a lot to know that the trip made you feel comfortable, free and able to fully enjoy every moment Ali will be very happy to read your words! He always does his best to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and we’re glad you enjoyed his energy, sense of humor and care throughout the journey. “Free like a bird in the sky” sounds like the perfect motto 😊 We’re also really happy that you enjoyed the variety of landscapes and experiences — Morocco has so much to offer, and it’s great that you could see so many different sides of it, from the mountains to the Sahara. Thank you as well for sharing your personal experience. It truly means a lot to us that you felt safe, welcome and respected during your trip. This is very important for us, and we want every traveler to feel comfortable and at ease. We appreciate your tips and your kind words about the people and the culture — Morocco is indeed a very warm and hospitable place ✨ It would be an absolute pleasure to welcome you again… and maybe next time with your grandma too Warm regards, Brahim

A great family holiday

Three generations of our family including two young boys aged 5 and 18 months had a fantastic few days. We were well looked after by Ahmed who was very considerate.

Great Four Day Tour

We had a great time on the 4 day Desert Tour. Ali, our driver/guide, did a great job getting us places safely and we had fun riding with him. We learned a lot about Morocco on the trip. We really enjoyed riding dromadaries (camels) to the camp. The camp had everything we needed. The sunrise was beautiful. Thanks again to Ali for a wonderful time.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! 🌟 We’re delighted to hear that you had such a great time on your 4-day Desert Tour and that Ali made your journey safe, fun, and full of memorable moments. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed learning about Morocco, the camel ride across the dunes, and the magical sunrise in the desert — those are truly unforgettable experiences! 🐪🌅 We’re also very happy to know the camp met your expectations and that you felt comfortable during your stay. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to share your message with Ali — he’ll be thrilled to hear it! We hope to welcome you back one day for another amazing adventure in Morocco. 🇲🇦 Warm regards, Brahim & the Marrakech Camel Trips Team

4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does 4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes cost?

+

Prices start at $400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes take?

+

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is 4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, From Marrakech To Essaouira Mogador Full Day Trip | Small-group, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
