Experience of a lifetime. Truly magical with Wonderful People
Wow.... Experience of a lifetime. Just magical. We stayed with Ali, Youssef, and the team in Merzouga for a couple of nights and we can't wait to go back. From beginning to end - everything was the experience we were looking for. We were picked up by Youssef from our Kasbah, and he couldn't had done anything more to make sure we were looked after - so caring and considerate of us and made our trip so much fun. We then met Ali and the team at the Riad and were greeted like we were family. We trekked to the desert camp by camel - a pinch-me moment - like a scene out of a movie. The camp itself was spectacular - the entire team; so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The tents are wonderful (the AC greatly appreciated in the 48c heat!) and the food was some of the best we had across the whole of Morocco during our 2 weeks. Special mention to Mohammed who was our meal-time showman and took centre stage. We would pay good money just to see his one-man show when it opens ;) We danced, drummed, stargazed (never seen a sky like it) watched the sunset - and the sunrise. And so much more. Given the size of the camp too - it never felt crowded or busy - just like a small community of people experiencing something like a 'bucket-list' desire. We took advantage of the experiences offered too - from ATV'ing across the dunes - to Youssef helping us explore everything the desert has to offer. The Oasis, the Lake & Flamingos, visiting a Nomad family (where we were again treated like family) and then some traditional community music. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Not only that - special mention goes to Youssef - as whilst on our drive, he went out of his way (on our ~6hr commute to the desert) to help us discover parts of Morocco that we would never have known or seen had he not be so generous and kind in his want to help us not miss a thing. For example, the Gorge, so many spectacular view points, Ait Ben haddou - where we took the time to walk us up to the best viewing location, and then took us to visit a 'behind the scenes' tour of the Movie Studios in Ouarzazate - none of this was part of the itinerary - just his kindness to make sure we had a great time and he expected nothing from us in return. We can't thank you enough. Ali, Youssef, Mohammed, and the rest of the team - you made our trip truly magical. Thank you.

Amazing Desert Tour with Ali
We had an amazing tour with Ali! He is a very kind and professional guide, and his planning was absolutely perfect. Even though we only had only a few days in Morocco, he managed to take us to many incredible tourist spots without feeling rushed at all. The desert experience was truly unforgettable. It included ATV riding, camel riding, and a cozy campfire experience at the desert camp. The accommodation and activities were very well organized and became the highlight of our trip. Ali also helped us take many beautiful photos, so we could capture lots of great memories. On top of everything, he even gave us a small gift, which was incredibly thoughtful and kind of him. I highly recommend Ali to anyone looking for a well-organized, memorable, and heartwarming tour experience in Morocco!

Magical-soothing stay
A dream circuit concocted by Ali that is applied to take into account our wishes. With Moha our guide we shared the history and life of the maroc, with magnificent discoveries both from a historical point of view and on the current life of Moroccans. The atlas with its breathtaking landscapes.... Meeting a Gnawa family with all his kindness and warmth was very touching. Welcoming has always been warm and surprising site visits highlight a great wealth of heart and show that simplicity still exists.... The camel ride is to be done and in the dunes you feel out of time... Spending the night under a magnificent sky vault is magical. The constant attention of Ali and Moha our guide made us have a peaceful stay where we just had to let ourselves be carried by the moment.... We recommend 100/100.....

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
